Your images are not accurate. But Halo was never going to be a graphics king.

Graphically its a big step up from the past Halo games.

But its not competition for "those" PS3 exclusives.

It looks pretty nice.

I played the multiplayer last week at the Canadian gaming convention and boy the game was terrible! guns had no zoom, running felt awkward, throwing a granade was slow, the sensivity at max is slow as sh*t and it takes the whole clip for someone to die ( at times i needed 2 clips to kill someone ), graphics looked seriously blurry, the lin up consisted of kids! ( but the lems said only adults play halo ).. yet at the end of the match i still maneged to be on top and guess what? it was my very first time playing that game too.

This is a $20 purchase at best!

Guns that need zoom, have zoom. It takes a whole clip because everyone has shield, this isn't a twitch shooter like CoD. And, if you're talking two clips to kill someone, then you suck and that leads me to believe you are bullshltting about coming top (unless you were playing against 7 year olds)

They are probably multiplayer, from some old beta and upscaled to look worst on top

Is there any console game that doesn't look like ass when you have a full size screenshot like these ones? I don't think so. The only way you can make any console game not look horrendous is to post half size shots, like those you regularly see on this forum. This looks no less terrible than any other console game I've seen.

This is a half size screenshot as you well know. The reason the OP upscaled it is because what the game looks like full screen as opposed to your tiny half sized shots, i.e. full screen. Minecraft looks pretty decent in half size shots too.

I'm not a Halo fan, but those pics look fine for a console game.

You still don't have the slightest clue what you are talking about do you. Without upscaling this screenshot it would look EVEN WORSE on a TV screen. The OP actually did you a favour by upscaling it, that's exactly what your console does when you play on a TV. The only way to make this game look like it does in your screenshot would be to play it on a 10" TV and I'm not sure they make those anymore.

Not a bad looking game, but then again Halo has never been about taking the graphics crown. Gameplay is where Halo shines, especially for a FPS on consoles, we all know FPSs are better played with KB/M on PC. But Halo has done a good job.

The only issue I find with those pictures is that it's way too bright, the colors are way too washed out, or it's some combination of the two. Otherwise, it looks exactly how I would expect a Halo game to look.
