It could work but some things in the game would have to be scalled down to fit onto the Wii. The graphics for one thing would only be up to EDTV standard.

no. shooters for wii need to be built for it from the ground up. otherwise the extra buttons from ther other systems are too much to convert.

Could work but what engine it would use would be the issue. Graphics wise Metroid Prime 3 is already said to look better then Halo 2. It comes down to the engine used for the most part since it's all first person and comes down to what can be scripted at certain points in the game. Of course HD would have to go but Halo 3 would look great even without HD so I don't really see how that could even be an issue. Hmm would the MP engine work for the game? Multiplayer is a different issue. Just not enough info on how FPS would work on it. Would it be run via a central server or are players hosting games themselves. If it's a central server most likely not a problem but hosting could be I think. Still hell would freeze over, thaw, and freeze over again before we ever saw something like this though.

No because Wii is less powerful than Xbox 1. It's the same hardware as GCN except overclocked, so it has a weaker graphics card than Xbox 1.

The hell it is. Wii is twice as powerful as Xbox. Just because devs have not treated it with the quality it needs does not mean the hardware itself falls short.

But yes I agree Halo 3 could not properly run on Wii even on a downscaled version because that is all Halo 3 is about. Whenever Bungie releases new info on Halo 3 on their site its all about how aswome the 360's power is and how they are going to make distances real and all. I never hear what new controls they have, how the story will be better (it better be better than Halo 2's weak plot), or what new guns they have.

Halo 3 is all graphics and that is why it wont work on Wii.

Halo 2 would work fine as well. It would take alot of work to somehow get number 3 into a workable port for Wii.

I'm sure the Wii has the graphical capabilities to run the game, but Bungie is part of Microsoft Game Studios. That means, there is no possible way for any Halo game going on any console but a Microsoft one.
