guys did i make the right decision ? xbox 360 bundle vs. ps3 slim

was at bestbuy and i saw ps3 slim for $299.99 cad & right beside it is an xbox 360 elite bundled with 3 games (lego batman , prince of persia & halo 3 ) hdmi cable and wireless network adapter for $329.99 cad ...since i already have the 60g ps3 and found out that ps3 slim cannot play ps2 games , i decided to go for the 360 bundle instead ,which according to the saleslady is an awesome package ....what do you guys think ...she also told me that future xbox 360's will not come with hdmi cable or wireless network adapter ?? is this true or just sales talk??

Good decision man. I recomend you to get Gears1, 2, Mass effect and Left4Dead (or just wait for L4D2) ;)

Since you already had a ps3 , that's afine choice....... but how is that 360 going to play ps2 games. You could have just spent $99 and bought a lot of great cheap ps2 games (better than those 360 ones) and called it a day and got what you really desired - ps2 games !

Considering that you already had a PS3, you made the right choise. I've never understood the whole buying a console more than once thing. I know many people do it though (PS3 slims and Xbox 360 Elites and such).

yeah, it's a good deal// i seen it in a flyer/ i might just pick up another xbox(sold the old one i had)... the only down side is0 you still have to buy the 50/60 dollar live and a charger for the controller. ( but then i was think i could keep halo 3 for the online and sell the other 2 off to like ebgames).. still thinking of getting it

yeah to you it sounds like a good idea. But honestly just upgrading a hard drive would be the better choice. Lol to be honest the 360 bundle is as good as the ps3, however when you have a ps3. WHY consider buying another one, when you can have a variety of different games on another console. Sorry, i think you're not getting the logic behind what i said.

IMO TC the elite bundle is a great deal but seeing as you have a PS3 its kind of pointless.

This is the funniest thread I've seen in a while considering that the TC is level 35.

Can't comment on two of the games, but you got Halo 3 which is easily the best online fps this gen (I'm a PC gamer first and foremost, and that is still my opinion).

And you got a 360 before they lose HDMI, and you got a wireless adaptor as well. It's a pretty awesome deal definitely.

I'm not sure why you would question if it was the right decision though. The 60gb PS3 is the best one, so I would never consider changing to a slim one which has less features. It's purely aesthetics, and the slim PS3 doesn't even look that good. The older PS3's are nice and sleek.

You saved $95 if the Hdmi calbe and wifi adapter is included. If not..only $20. I wouldn't make that deal for a 360.
