GTA V - Playstation 3 vs Xbox 360?

Hey guys, I am wondering what, if any, differences there will be for the different console versions of GTA V. What are the upsides and downsides of each version? I am wanting to possibly change my pre-order depending on this. I have both consoles I just can't decide which to get.

I'm guessing:
Controller preference.
XBOX Live multiplayer vs PSN.
Any performance differences?
Will PS3 be one disc while 360 is multi-disc?
etc other things I don't know about yet.

Any performance differences?GTA IV preformed worse on PS3 but all footage released of V thus far has been from the PS3 version, so that could be telling. Maybe they finally unlocked the powah of teh Cell.

Will PS3 be one disc while 360 is multi-disc?PS3; one disc, 8gig install required. 360 has two; one which you install 8gigs of data to your 360 with and never have to use again.

I'd be worried if I was getting this game at launch.

i doubt that gta 5 will be the first time a rockstar game  is better on the ps3.

Teh Cell on PS3 will allow super high res textures and unlimited draw distances in the game so get that one.

Pc version > Either one of those. 

Rockstar always seems to be buddy buddy with Sony consoles it seems. If that honestly makes a difference, I dunno.

We don't have any problems with waiting, we have lots of great games to play while waiting.

Yay for that, but GTA5 will be the best thing since the history of everything, so if you own a console, just buy and play the damn thing.

I'll grab a PS3 version. All the footage shown thus far is off the PS3 version and it looks incredible. I'd recommend people buying the version their friends play on because GTA Online looks like a blast.

As for exclusive first-get on DLC, nothing has been announced and I highly doubt it'll be that way for anyone. Rockstar hasn't done such a deal since GTA4, and I don't think they have any reason to start now. 

360 for sure.

Since XBL is better than PSN for Online gaming, cross-game chat, every 360 has a headset, better overall. 

I'll go with the leading platform this time, the PS3.

Rockstar not wanting to show the 360 version tells me the game ain't looking so pretty over there. They'll probably have to add a texture pack on a separate disk like EA did with the 360 version of BF3. Because of the hardware limitations and all that.

PS3 version for me. Reasons being:

1) All footage shown has been off of the PS3 version. R* wouldn't showcase the inferior version of the game so I expect the PS3 version to either look/perform the same as or better than the Xbox 360 version.

2) I don't want to deal with multiple discs, even if one is just an install disc.

3) My PS3 is a Slim and my Xbox 360 is still the fat version. My PS3 Slim has a much less chance of failing than my Xbox 360 and I don't want to possibly deal with any RROD issues during my GTA V splooge-fest.

I got an equal number of friends on both systems so that doesn't sway me either way.

360 version.
