GT5/Forza 3/Racing Sims= SNOREFEST.

seriously, for all the hype racing sims get, and all the rage-induced comparisons threads that follow...why is it that the actual game ends up being boring as ****? and then right after it's release we never speak of again?

this goes for Forza 3, GT5, hell, any game that's a racing simulator. they are just flat out boring, and i mean that type of boring that concepts suicidal thoughts in your head.

who said you had to play any of these games in the first place?

I'm a die hard fan for GT and Forza while I think FPS games are boredom fest opinions are nice :D.

i love gran turismo 5 definitely not a snore fest but i do love me some mario kart on the snes or 64 some fzero snes and some crash team racing ps.

It's because people who like cars and track racing enjoy a more realistic approach to racing games... not that hard to understand is it?

I myself find Arcade racing games much more boring than Sim/simarcade. They're all flash and no susbstance, no real skill involved.

i mean seriously, has anyone ever actually played a Forza or Gran Turismo game? it's perhaps one of the most boring things you'll ever experience.

so you don't like Racing sims. They are not for everyone. Go play something else then. I just raced a 4hr Endurance race on GT5 this afternoon, so, i like them.

This was what I was thinking . I will never understand the threads that people make saying they find a certain type of game boring. There are plenty of games I find boring so I just do not buy them but I do not feel the need to try and convince others that do enjoy it to not buy them.

I've played them both and I've never been bored. I've played Midnight Club, NFS, Blur, PGR, Burnout, Split Second, Mario Kart and several other driving games, and none of them have bored me.

U know whats even more boring than playing Sim racing games? watching Kids Shows like Teletubbies, Thomas The Tank Engine are even more boring than playing GT5/Forza 3.

Thought it was a new Crysis mod for a sec.

Its just that for people who are into this type of game, there is really only no other option than those 2.

Which one you get to play depends on what system you have.

So people who only have one system or the other will defend it because they want to feel better that they won't be able to play the other game.

I'm getting GT5 in 2 days ;)
