These award shows need to be left up to the channels/websites. How many voters actaully played every game nominated for each category? Also, Zelda winning for longest game...? FFXII(50-60 hours without doing any sidequests, 100+ easily if you do most of em') or WoW should have won. Zelda is 40 hours with sidequests(unless the Wii version is longer than the GC one?).

I lol'd when they said GoW2 got so many votes cause ppl still only have ps2s. Perhaps they should use that same logic with Gears winning everything it was nominated for.

One more complaint with this joke of an award show is the best soundtrack award. Only original soundtracks should be nominated(or at least make a seperate category) IMO. It's not like the devs wrote the songs for games like GH and motorstorm.

It is G4, Maybe God of War 2 won, but they saw GOW2 and thought it was Gears of War. I beenlosingfaith in G4 after they bought Tech TV, and after they cut off the Mass Effect Trailer at E3because they had to go to commercial Ilost all faith in them

That is the problem. No way the viewers played all the nominees. Not to mention, a lot of the votes probably came from fanboys. It should be left up to the channel to decide the winners cause they have played and reviewed all the games, and if they are professional, they will keep any bias out. Looking at the longest game category in which Zelda won. Zelda may have been the best game nominated, but it was not the longest, and Dead Rising was definitely not the most original :|.

nope, never use strategy guides. Final fantasy has always just been easy games for me. the only one ive spent a long time on was ffX, and that was because it was just that good.

no problem,i dont expect you to believe me. I just wanted to say that not everyone will take 40 hours or more to finish the game. however,i will say that if i took the time to do all the sidequests the game would easily take about 70 hours for me to finish. some of those dang hunts are annoying
