God of War III vs. Shadow of the Colossus....Which one is more epic?

Shadow of the Colossus at the moment is the more epic game, but that might be a product of me not playing God of War III nearly enough.

I refuse to choose.

This, I haven't play SotC yet so I can't choose

I must be the only one who found SOTC boring. I got like5 bosses into the game and it was the same thing over and over...Yet everywhere I look on GS forums people rave about it. Should I have kept playing?

All I did listen to some guy out of the sky....get on horse...kill a huge rock thing.....return to sanctuary....approach girl....get on horse fight a different looking rock thing. Should I have kept playing? Does the story pick up?

and lets be honest... Kratos is the god of war and you spend most of the time killing hordes of enemies weaker than you

the guy in SOTC is just a random guy, who looks like a kid, taking down monsters 300x his size and strength

1. Shadow of the Colossus has been out since 2005, God of War 3 was just released
2. Shadow of the Colossus sold over a million copies, no numbers yet on God of War 3

The numbers for any comparison thread would only be accurate only if the sales numbers were similar (unless people are voting without having played both games in which case the poll doesn't matter either). Shadow of the Colossus should dominate the poll right now as way more people have played than God of War 3. So, for now, the poll is completely useless.

SotC but, it's epic in a different way. SotC is epic because it's just you a wanderer with just a bow a sword and your wits fighting twenty story colossi. In GoWIII the enemies are a bit bigger but your frickin Kratos,a spartan, demigod, badass with chains on his hands.

No offense ihsanqueen, but you make the weirdest threads I've ever seen in SW sometimes. I guess you're trying to equating scale with epicness? Anyways, I voted Shadow of the Colossus. Imo it's sooo much better than any of the God of War games.

i think they're just different types of experiences. i love both (think i'm pretty close to finishing GOW3). i guess SOTC feels a little more solitary and poetic. GOW3 is just gut wrenching good fun.
