God of War 2 destroys Gears of War as the best game released in the last 5 months !!!

Not only is God of War the PS2's best game... Its also the PS3's best game. God of War can be played in 720p on the PS3 !!!!!

About 90% of the internet would agree that Ninja Gaiden is still better. Still, it is a pretty stunning game in its own right. It probably deserved it.

For casuals GOW could be the best action adventure franchise, yes.

It can't touch Ninja Gaiden and never will. Just wait until you PS3 owners get to play Sigma.

God of War 2 is for an old gen system. It would score much lower if it was released for PS3 or Xbox 360.

How do you define 'legitimate'? You don't have to be a big site to have an opinion which counts. When you get down with the real gamers on the internet, there's only one winner, and it's clearly Ninja Gaiden.

While it is awesome, and I will be buying it, I am getting sick of playing ps2 games on my ps3. To think of how good this game could have been on the next gen console is almost depressing.

Are you referring to the "best action game ever created" quote from IGN. Because they are not referring to the adventure part. What they said really comes down to this: God of War 2 beats the living hell out of games like Ninja Gaiden, Devil May Cry and Zone of Enders.

Sort off. If it is anything like the first game I doubt the action is better then in for example Ninja Gaiden.

But it's their opinion though. Luckily I have mine. Well, not completely since I never played GOW2, but I'm pretty sure that for me personally, it won't surpass Ninja Gaiden.

Zelda TP is also on the Gamecube with the same graphics... Even though Zelda TP is a Wii game...its tech more of a Gamecube game... Because the game was built and designed for the Cube, then the Wii control was later added....

So if Zelda is a next gen game...then God of War 2 with 720p should also be treated next gen..
