Despite the claim of Jaguar CPUs sucking so much, there are no games that are PC exclusives due to the CPU on consoles.

Just watched a DF video that shows a nice improvement on Battlefield 1 and it hasn't even gotten a patch yet, DOOM as well he says the unpatched XboxOneX version is basically the best version of DOOM on console , and that is pre-patch!

What makes it not factual? Seems like the idea of the image quality being better on the OneX than on a PC with a 1080 for Gears4 is what you don't like and because you don't like it, it must be false.

GEOW 4 at 1080p FPS drops down to 40????? heck my 1080ti runs this game at @ 4k ultra setting at 60fps dropping down to 55 at times. but the xb1x 1080p dropping to 40 is very sad , especially when Lemmings have been touting this console to be equal as a 1070 lol. What I think is funny is that GEOW 4 is a MS game so the XB1x should be running this game flawlessly. Poor Lemms , they can't seem to get a break.

You know Sony fanboys are in trouble when they ignore the native 4k @ 30fps for the random drop to 40fps at 1080p.

You have to admit there's no way a GTX 1070 equipped PC will buckle to the 40s at 1080p.

Too bad for you, X1X has rivaled GTX 1070 on other games which the GTX 1060 would be insufficient. Remember, X1X doesn't have actual "GTX 1070".

FreeSync for HDMI with standard 60 hz limit already indicates some limits for X1X.

Running at 1080p 60 fps mode, X1X has 125 watts power consumption while 4K 30 fps mode has 175 watts, hence the CPU bottle-necks the GPU at 1080p, but Xbox One X was designed for DF's resolution gate against PS4.

C'mon bro, this is just sad now. We have video evidence of XboneX dipping to the freaking 40s here and you're still pedaling this nonsense.

That's your assumption. However, That's not why I'm hesitant to believe them. There were improvements to the graphics, but it's not ultra across the board. And I'm going to wait for DF's complete analysis.

Now, if only it was a good game, it might matter. Pretty awful so far, but then, I don't expect much from the console space.

i watched the video and gears runs great on the system. However it is disappointing that at 1080p it couldn’t hold a steady 60 even jumping as low as 40fps. For a system touted to be so powerful, that shouldn’t happen. Of course with that crappy jaguar cpu, this was bound to happen. I hope for the true next gen consoles, Sony and Microsoft need to at least go with ryzen for the cpu. If they don’t then they will be making a big mistake. I would get a One X if there were true exclusives worth getting. Sadly there aren’t any that I can already play on my PC.

We have someone with hands on with the game stating that the game looks better than the PC version on ultra. You don't believe it and claim it as false even though you have no hands on experience to make such a claim.

What about the game makes it look better? Dynamic shadows? What else? What framerate? HDR?

He didn't go into specifics. Not going to specifics does not equate to it being false. I understand that you can have your suspicion but you can't claim it as false without backing. Just saying.

@Alucard_Prime: Yea, they literally say that Gears of War 4 maintains 60fps throughout the game and only buckles in those couple areas.. Not to mention the fact that its only an option (an option many people on this site claimed they wanted)..

I'm also very impressed with all the graphical enhancements.. Native 4K confirmed, 4K textures confirmed, enhanced PC-level graphical effects confirmed, and performance is maintained at a rock-solid 30fps..

^this is native 4K without compromising in any area compared to what's available on base hardware.. "uncompromised 4K" would probably be a good way to describe it.. ;-)

Looks like the deciding factor between getting an Xbox One X or a mid-range living room gaming computer will be this: what would you rather have, 4k/30 or solid 1080p/60 at max settings? It's an interesting question for sure and a trade-off we'll be debating for a long time.
