Gamespot Mario Kart 8 Casual Tournament (Staff/ModsXMembers)

Hey Gamespot Staff and Members, I'm calling you out.

This will be a 6 v 6, 8 race, teams tournament.

I think it's about time to see who's got the skills to pay the bills, Gamespot's Staff or Gamespot's Members.

Gamespot Staff will join in and use the Red Team and the Gamespot Members will use the Blue Team.

It's an all out battle to the finish, no holds barred.

Let's get on board Gamespot Staff. I'm sure the members are ready.

Lets all message the staff and help get the word out.

We need to set up a time and date to get this tournament underway.

I'll set up a room and host it once the time and date are established.

I'll post the access code here also for everyone that will join.

@Maroxad: is this possible? I have 2 WiUs, one with broken gamepad and would get the screen fixed on the other 1 if I can swap accounts rather than using my old White Basic WiiU. Would be nice to recoup the cash.

12 players is the cap for MK, so 6v6 is the only fair way to do it.

1 tournament is all we need for the purpose of seeing who's better, but I'd personally be open for more.

If you've played MK before, you pretty much know what you're doing, not too much has changed. It's easy to pick up.

eh no. Mario Kart 8 and WiiU friends work about the same. At least I know when you guys are on and playing when I go Online on Mario Kart. That's why I was so confused with the MK8 ID.

Haha, I know it! I've been getting my ass kicked. This is my favorite Mario Kart easily, but I'm getting my ass handed to me regularly.

Has anyone told the staff about this, or are we just hoping they see the thread?

I've sent a message to a few staff members. SeanMcloughlin, Synthia (DigitalDame) and a few others. I'm not sure if they read it or not. I'm hoping more of the members and mods can message staff about this as well so we can get this thing underway.
