I have Dark Souls 2 (PC), Mario Kart 8 & Destiny preordered. Will probably preorder Smash too (3ds & Wii U).

Is you don't count early access, then Space Pirates and Zombies 2. Also Borderlands 1.5 the moment GMG lets me.
Nothing yet. I'll probably pre-order Batman Arkham Knight (PC - Physical) one or two weeks before release.
Well I bought a few more things in Star Citizen if that counts. Also, gonna order Super Smash Bros ASAP. Other than that, not much.
I dont preorder anything anymore. Not really any point, especially on PC.
Usually if I preorder it's because of a great bonus or discount. With Mario Kart 8, I'm getting $35 back in SYWR points from Kmart.
The Order 1886
Destiny
Bound By Flame
As soon as they're eligible for Pre-order: Dragon Age: Inquisition, Diablo III(PS4) and The Last of Us
I should note that I still prefer all my games in physical format whenever possible, indies and Steam titles notwithstanding.
@ After I picked up TitanFall my only pre order now is Watchdogs from last year. I have a slight feeling after E3 there will be a flood again.
The only things I pre-ordered so far were InFamous, and Reaper of Souls.
I generally only pre-order when there are bonuses. So I may pre-order Dragon Age if they offer a Signature edition with free stuff for pre-ordering like they did with DA2.
Not really interested in much else this year. Maybe the Order and Arkham Knight.
kickstarters count as preorders.... yeah?
armikrog.
broken age (part 2)
ithaka of the clouds/council of the crows
ginga force -wonder price-
pillars of eternity
torment: tides of numenera (2015)
wasteland 2
eventually I'll be preordering Bayonetta 2, The Evil Within, and Gamecenter Love plus Pengo
I only Pre-order CEs now when they have something cool like a statue or yada yada.
Otherwise Not much else. I do have batman ready as well as watch dogs.
titanfall
elder scrolls collectors edition~ for a friend with my bestbuy 20% discount
watch dogs
destiny
Why? because they offer $10 pre order bonus
None, it's a stupid practice.
Not always. For instance best buy if you have GC unlocked (15 dollars a year) you get like 20% off new games plus with BB rewards another 10 dollar gift card which basically brings the price down to 38 dollars for a new game on release day, plus some offer in game bonus's as well.
With that said, Since I'm all digital, I don't pre-order games, I will when it allows for install prior to the release date
Why do people even pre-order. Just buy it?
bonuses. I got my name in the credits of Broken Age. I will also have a physical edition not made available to the public.
I will have a physical version of Armikrog.
Often times the games I like are typically one print runs and sell out forcing it to an OOP status. An example of this is when I bought muchi muchi pork/pink sweets bundle for $90 in 2011 which sold out in a couple months. The price sky rocketed for used copies to $140 until the release of a platinum hits which is also OOP now and heading in the same direction. Also... with many CAVE releases, you get first print run DLC including full game modes (essentially doubling, quadrupling, and tripling the game length) only included with pre-orders. People who get those codes and don't use 'em usually sell 'em for around $60-70 (for just the code... not the game).
@SolidGame_basic: I lot of them I already have.
Games already released: Infamous SS, Dark Souls 2, Titanfall, South Park: TSoT: KSR. Fable Anniversary
Games not released yet: Destiny, Batman: Arkham Knight, Diablo 3: Repear of Souls, The Witcher 3, Drive Club & The Order 1886,
Why do people even pre-order. Just buy it?
A) Tradition, at least for me.
B) There are often some decent pre-order perks that don't cost you anything other than a little up-front.
Kyle, when you preorder, you're only agreeing to pay money for a game some assholes in California haven't even finished working on yet. You know what you get when you preorder...? A big dick in your mouth.

Aaahh.. no. Most people preorder for a few reasons.
1. Gaurantee day one purchase. If it's a popular title, some places can sell out quickly. A pre-order guarantees you'll have your copy on the day it's released.
2. Preorder bonuses. Some of the preorder bonus are swag or in game content. Many gamers are collectors of these types of swag.
3. Make a profit on Ebay. At least with the collectors edition. I see a lot of people putting collector edition games with hard to find items up on Ebay to sell for 25-50% profit.
Preorders have nothing to do with dicks. Also, you can cancel your preorder and get your money back. There's no penalty for preordering a game.

You don't seem like a very happy hippo...
I've gone digital, and I've noticed an alarming trend where you can't preorder things like Titanfall or Ground Zeroes. So unless this trend changes, I won't be preordering much at all anymore. I used to to get bonus DLC etc. . But I can do without that stuff if it means I won't have to go get up-selled by a Gamestop employee who only possesses a fraction of the knowledge I do about video games. I haven't purchased a retail copy since Beyond: Two Souls, and it's my goal to never do so again.

i don't know who kyle is, i'm not as passionate about the issue, but, i'm inclined to agree with the happy hippo.

I figured the South Park following would be bigger on this board.

Also, despite people not realizing I'm referencing South Park, preordering does have its drawbacks -- if you preorder something and you don't end up wanting it, you then have to go back to the place where you preordered, which now equates to two trips to a store for the purpose of not purchasing something, when you can wait until release day, go to Best Buy -- sacrificing the burst-rifle that's only effective for the first hour of the game -- and buy the game off the shelf.
