From Xbox 360 to.....

So we have an Xbox 360 and it is time to update- so what do we go to next?

pick a platform that has the most games that suit your preferences

Pick the one with the games you prefer, then the ones your friends are on, then the one you find the controller to be best.

So PC.

You need to pick the one that has the most games that align with your tastes, when looking at exclusives. Also consider what consoles your friends and family are playing on if you want play with them online (note that Xbox Live is the best online option). Of note, many of the Xbox 360 games that you already own might be playable on the Xbox One, so you can carry your library forward. There are almost 200 titles available that are backwards compatible, with more to come. Multiplatform games are of course available on the Xbox One, and are of little difference than that of the PS4. I would move to the PS4 if you like their line up of games better, or if you have friends/family that are on the PSN network to play with. As for the Wii U, I personally would not upgrade to that (IMO) because the online network is not as robust, and the 3rd party support is dismal compared to the Xbox One and PS4.

PS4 if you're not into Forza, Gears of war or Halo, the PS4 can run multiplatforms better and have has much superior exclusives. Give the following games a shot as they are superb titles, Uncharted Nathan Drakes Collection, Uncharted 4, The Last of Us...

xbox 360 games are playable on xbox one, why would you pick PS4?

It's better to play 360 games on the 360 unless it has RRoDed.

Good point. Imagine if he went with the PSBore, he would just get to play Uncharted, Killzone and Gran Turismo franchises...milking dem cows. But he already knew that :P

I have had better experience with 360 games on the Xbox One. In many cases performance has been better. In all cases, I am able to game DVR and take screenshots of 360 games in my Xbox One. Something we can't do on the 360.

My experience as well. Who woulda thunk it. :P

If you like variety, I would say pc, cause it offers a much wider selection of games.

Do your research and decide what you want. This is literally the worst place to ask for advice.
