First Killzone 3 review!

This is supposedly the first review of the game in the world and it comes from the polish mag CD-Action. Overall it got a 9/10.

Gameplay 9/10

Video, so presentation, graphics and such 10/10

Sound 8/10

+one of the best looking games out there. Its worth noting that CD-Action is mainly a PC games magazine so this statement says alot I think.

+playing with move and the sharp shooter shell thing

-shallow characters, game deserves more

-little bugs

The game is said to outclass everything else on current gen consoles in terms of graphics. The locales are varied and all very detailed. The enemies are also a joy to behold. The reviewer goes as far as to claim that its almost like an interactive piece of artwork. The pacing of the game has been improved over K2. The game is hard from begining to end, even on the normal setting. Coop is mentioned, but not really elaborated upon. You can play the campaign in coop thats for certain. The multiplayer tested only with bots (the games not out so there was no way to play with people) seems much improved and as interesting as it was in K2. The sound in the game is fine but still does not compare to something like Bad Company 2.

im not really into FPSs but this series is slowly beginning to intrigue me. How does the online multiplayer stack up against others? Is it fun/balanced etc?

Still i like KZ, good review and score.

This game is like UC done right. Looking forward to more great scores.

LMAO are there still people around here that think 'Killzone' means 'like the one on PS2'? Whatever, I loved KZ2 to bits and I'm sure I'll love this one too.

Generalizations are so much fun! At least this year "Rabbid PS3 fanboys" have an option to buy exclusives if they want. The other 2 console have next to nothing to look forward to exclusive wise, especially during the first 9 months of this year.

Anyway, I'm kind of disappointed the story got an 8/10 from this review. From the last story trailer it seemed Guerilla was going to make put forht a top notch story

I don't own a PS3 but it getting a good exclusive is good for them. Does it really matter? Good news comes out about a game and 90% of you just argue about it immediately. Shouldn't you be hoping its awesome? Why do so many of you want it to be bad just to piss of the PS3 guys? Grow up.

Halo has been hated for such a long time it's bound to get bad user reviews......Personally i think Reach is very Underrated. ODST was an expansion that was overpriced by Microsoft. (way better campaign than Reach or KZ.) Let's not add Halo 2, CE, 3 into the mix hey? walkingdream

as a whole franchise, halo is far superior to killzone. in individual games? while that is a closer fight, halo probably still wins.
