Finally decided on a console addition to my gaming PC

....and it's a PS4! Had a 360 and Wii/Wii U last gen, skipped the PS3 entirely due to the exclusives not appealing to me. However, now, shipping soon is a PS4 slim 1tb along with MLB the Show 18, Horizon Complete, and God of War. I plan on getting the 2 Kingdom Hearts games out now, along with 3 when it releases as well as Ratchet and Clank, Crash Bandicoot and the 2 Yakuza games.

Am I missing anything really groundbreaking for someone who primarily plays on PC, and has no interest the Uncharted series, or games like The Last Guardian?

Just exclusives recommendations please as all multiplats will be purchased on PC (excluding horrible port jobs)

Infamous. But KH's are fantastic on the PS4, 2.8 is an amazing game, I think its dream drop distance is a great remaster.

I highly recommend The Last Guardian for something unique

My best friend from high school played through Persona 5 not too long ago and raved about it. I honestly forgot about it until you guys mentioned it. I'll add that to the list to get at some point. I'm not too worried about multiplayer games as I have plenty I play frequently on PC. Also the Infamous games are good recommendations as they piqued my interest when they came out but I didn't own the console. Also, @Ant_17 I did not know there was a third Yakuza game so I will definitely get that too.

Ya I saw that on the Steam upcoming list, but I wanted to get them on the console now just to spread my gaming time across two systems a bit more as I'm already heavily dedicated to quite a few PC games.

@Wopps: don't get the 2 KH out now, they're releasing a complete digital collection for $99 with all games plus KH3, a real bargain.

@Wopps: Dude, you got 3 Yakuza games right now, 1 coming in August and the Fist Of The North Star type Yakuza game in October or September. PLus the remasters of 3, 4 and 5. You can play the entire series on the PS4! Except for Dead Souls, the best spin off in the world ever made.

Very glad you are getting Ratchet and Clank! That is my favorite Ps4 Game by far.

Get Bloodborne and play it multiple times, because you probably won't fully grasp the lore in a single play-through.

It's honestly one of the best games ever made. I still prefer Dark Souls, but the atmosphere in Bloodborne... holy shit.

Just about everything you missed on ps3 is on ps4 so it's a great choice.

If you like Dark Souls even a little make sure to get Blood Borne, it's amazing.

No. I'd recommend Bloodborne, but you're a PC gamer. You'd probably be annoyed by the unstable 30fps and chromatic aberration.

@Litchie: he got a PS4 slim, he's probably not as sensitive or stupid over 30fps like most hermits.

@Litchie: nah, anyone with a sensible mind (even you hermits, since this is mostly a SW thing) knows that 30fps only makes a difference during 5-10 minutes and after you get used to it, you only notices it when it's not consistent, specially on a single player game designed to run @ 30fps.

Yeah, I'm pretty much cool with 30 fps myself. As a PC/Nintendo gamer, I'm very used to 60 fps now though, but as long as the 30 fps is stable, I can enjoy games played in 30 fps as well. Though Bloodborne on a PS4 slim is pretty fucking far from stable 30 fps, from what I've heard, sadly.

@Litchie: from my experience, it's pretty much consistent. I Grant you that @ launch it was badly optimized, but now it's really stable, give it a try, it's dirty cheap too.

Awesome if true. I should tell my friend who owns the console and game. I'd try it myself if I had a PS4, but Bloodborne is the only PS4 game I'd really like to play, so I decided I'll live without it.
