Call me a fanboy but I think GT5P looks a teeny bit better. They're both great though, can't deny that.
Yeah, I think so too. Seems to have less jaggies.Call me a fanboy but I think GT5P looks a teeny bit better. They're both great though, can't deny that.

finally a fair comparision.....yup GT5P looks better in some area's no doubt.....the Forza 3 demo played much better than GT5P IMO though
That's not what makes a good racing game... The simplicity of GT and the pure enjoyment out of collecting cars and driving them on very well designed tracks is what makes GT better for me.Physics - Forza

Other than some aliasing in F3 and some lighting differences, both look about the same.
But then again, racing games are about more than just graphics.

This. They both look great though. And screenshots don't do racing games justice.

Agreed.

It's about customization and competition. Gran Turismo is a better driving game. Collecting cars and admiring them while driving around the tracks (preferably without other cars getting in the way).

I don't see how anyone can't see the clearly 2D displays being represented on the Forza 3 car models.

Which comes down to the same old thing, if you enjoy the aesthetics of cars, get GT5, if you enjoy the performance of cars, get FM3.

And if you aren't a fanboy, get both!
GT Prologue looks better, the cars in Forza still don't have that realistic look to them. I've never been able to put my finger on it. They look good, just not quite as good. The interiors really look fake on Forza as well. Especially the Audi interior looks really wrong on Forza without the red display. But really the biggest difference I see between the two is 16 cars on the track for GT and 8 cars for Forza. You would think with half the cars it would look amazing.EmperorSupremeForza has the 360FPS physics remember. Forza 3 does look fantastic, but GT5 has better lighting.

Forza 3 imo just does everything a racing game should do.finally a fair comparision.....yup GT5P looks better in some area's no doubt.....the Forza 3 demo played much better than GT5P IMO though

I really need to stop agreeing with you :P but yea I agree....the lighting and car model is what makes GT5 P stand out to me, but FM3 does play better.
Edit: Oh wow I'm passed 5,000 posts
This just shows why it takes so long for Polyphony to put out a game. They clearly are dedicated in giving us the most out of our car games, they are not pushing out games just so they can meet their quota. jakarai
I would agree if FM series was on a decline but that's not the case, FM3 is a AAA title through and through.
god forza 3 looks horrible, glad ill be going with GT5tastetheacidmilHorrible? Maybe slightly worse... but you cannot say horrible.

Yeah. Even if you're a hardcore, insane, Sony obessed Cow, you have to admit that Forza 3 looks good.

People get sucked in to how Forza seems to over suggest physics
I like racing my GTR 34 in GT4 on Tsukuba and accuratelyhitting times or 1:05 or high 1:04 (Just like the car does in real life in Best Motoring). But on Forza the Sub 1:03 times are unrealistic. But people overlook this since there are marks off the tires, screeching and car vibration etc

Yep, but some cows have went as far to say Forza 3 looks like a PS2 game.I don't know about you guys but besides the mountains, the enviroements look better in gt5. The grass textures are no comparison and track looks slightly higher res

Fanboy goggles are powerful i hear.GT has the better cars but im liking forza's environment a bit more. Also, i hate how the Forza car dashboard is so damn close. Its like the driver moves the seat up as far as possible :?II_Seraphim_III had my doubts, but after using the cockpit i actually like the view, it's more exciting to race from somehow.
