Not much of a fan? Great score, but not really interested.
Big fan. Loving Tri. Quality game, but its still standard Monster Hunter with better controls and graphics.
In my eyes AA worthy.
Ah, yeah thats kind of what I was expecting. I don't find the graphics as uber appealing as some do though.. they are good though, definitely acceptable..

I never found why people think Monster Hunter Tri has such good graphics. They were sub par compared to other Wii games. But they do have a great sense of scale (no corridors, which is all the rage in HD games), although N64 games also had great sense of scale (not that MH3 looks like an N64, not even close).

exactly what I would have thought eurogamer would have scored it. From what I hear it's a bit tedious/difficult and they seem to be more into those types of games - which is right down my alley.
I'd expect to see EDGE give a pretty similar score.

GS will give it a 6.5. "IT STILL HAS NO LOCK ON" and they'll bash the wiimote controls, even though they aren't manditory. Gamespot is really casual when it comes to monster hunter.

What's the difficulty curve like in this. That was what ruined Freedom 2 for me, you're ambling along its getting a bit more difficult then BAM Yian Kut Ku.

I'm a little interested in this game. It sounds like Demon Soul with worse graphics but actual online that's more than downloading a ghost run in Forza.
People are still doubting this game? SW really hates the Wii. It's getting phenomenal reviews so far and there are still doubters? I personally cant wait for this game, it looks absolutely amazing, I think this is the best looking game on the Wii and has a chance of being among the best games on the console.

Everyone is doubting the game because no matter how awesome it is, it will just be "good" on GS. If this game does manage to get a 9.0 on here, that would be extremely surprising. Even an 8.5 would be. It will most likely get a 7.5 here at best (If it manages a little more, than it will be a pleasant surprise) But if you are just talking about quality, most people think it is going to be a fairly good game.

The Yian Kut Ku is absolutely nothing compared to the next few bosses in Freedom 2.
This game is more of the same. Few mini boss type monsters then bam, Rathian.

Nah, there's just so few sheep here to defend the game, Lems/Cows bash the Wii whenever they get the chance, and how do you know what it's going to get? It's fairly illogical to assume it will get A status when some of the biggest names in game reviewing have been giving it stellar reviews (One below AA on Meta and I haven't even heard of them before) not to say GS is gonna give it a good score but to assume GS will give it A just doesn't follow at this point based on other reviews. Sheep need to make a comeback, I love my Wii and I hate to see it get torn apart without any Sheep here to defend it :(

Well, considering that its not much different from previous MH games, and Gamespot always gives them poorly, it would be quite shocking if it got like 8.5+ Even Shirokishi_ who is one of the bigger Wii defenders, says the game isn't overly different..

Mainly this. GS usually marks games down when it comes to being more of the same...well some games they do some they don't. And MH has never gotten A before here.

Still won't stop GS from not liking it, just how they haven't like the rest of the series. If its an A or higher here, I consider that a win for the series.

And you've exposed yourself as never having played Demon's Souls. In Tri, you can play together online. In Demon's Souls, you can play online with other people. The only difference is that in Tri, you'll (probably?) get to choose who you play with.
