Eight Weeks of PSN Spring Fever!

Hi everyone! March is here, and that means it’s time for our annual Spring Fever promotion with discounts for PlayStation Plus members on hot new digital-only games each week. This year, Spring Fever is going to last eight weeks – that’s twice as long as last year – with new PS4 games launching each week.

Over the next two months, we’re shining a light on some of the most unique titles coming to PS4 from incredibly talented developers and discounting their games for PS Plus members during each game’s launch week. This year’s lineup features PlayStation console-exclusive titles, as well as classic franchises making their debut on PS4. And if you haven’t made the jump to PS4 yet, don’t fret – a number of these games are also launching on PS3 and/or PS Vita as well.

Spring Fever kicks off next Tuesday, March 3rd with the launch of Helldivers from Arrowhead Game Studios. It’s a hardcore twin stick shooter perfect for four-player co-op madness. PS Plus members can pick up Helldivers next week at a sweet 10 percent discount. Here’s the full Spring Fever lineup:

I think it's a great deal for first day buyers and you can save up a lot of money on the long run, for me I prefere to wait for big discounts which are fairly common on PSN. I purchased the Trine collection for 8 pounds yesterday, and not so earlier this month, I got Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition for 4.5 pounds.

Oh these are just launching? lol "Spring Fever promotion" I assumed (yes yes I know) as most of these are old as ass!

@blue_hazy_basic: As far as I know, Shovel Knight and Bastion are the only old games here. Not sure about Metal Slug. Titan Souls has a (very fun) PC demo if you'd like to try.

Jamestown has been on steam forvever too

Got it on a humble bundle i think.

Nearly dislocated my jaw from yawning so hard. Not that they're bad games, but indiestation 4 strikes again and the price reductions are terrible.

Axiom Verge I might get, but not for that price. Lovely if it turns out to be even half the game Super Metroid is, but Super Metroid's eight bucks. >.>
Metal Slug 3's in a similar situation for me as Axiom Verge.

@Blabadon I only put in 2 hours into Jamestown myself. Not sure if that speaks more to my inexperience with the genre (Ikaruga, which I -did- enjoy, is the only other I've played) or the game's quality. Should note that reception on Steam was overwhelmingly positive, so I might be an outlier.

@Snugenz: something tells me u wouldn't be bashing indies if they were being promoted on xbone.

Can't stand comments about indies when many of them are better then most AAA games any more.

Getting axiom verge, holiness miami2, titan souls, metal slug, he'll I'll wind up with the whole lot.

Hotline Miami 2 is on 10% sale on Steam without having to subscribe and pay for that godawful service.

You should check your instincts because you're way off there. I'm a PC gamer first and most of these games are on that platform and cheaper. The few that aren't will most likely be on it in the future, so yeah boring "sale" seriously 1.50 - 2$ off at most?, amazing prices!!.

I -liked- the original, but I'm not really in the mood for more of that right now. :s More in the mood for slower-paced games.

Yeah, for all the praise that PS+ gets on here, having to pay to get a discount you can get on a free service like Steam (or pretty much any free online PC game store) is pretty damn ridiculous.

So the Spring Fever promotion is just cheap indie games that are just slightly a bit cheaper.

@CanYouDiglt: It's mostly like XBL Summer of Arcade thing where awesome new indies are highlighted.

Now if you're capable of reading, you'd see there's more to this than just the indies :)

Some Brand new games releasing with discounts on day one! Pretty sweeeeeeeet...for consoles. Some of these others I have on PC.

Obviously prices could be better, but I am happy they are still giving deals to first week buyers.

Titan Souls, Axiom Verge, Helldivers, and Hotline 2 are the highlights for me as they are new games.

Although, I may double dip on Shovel Knight, not sure yet.

Aww do not get so upset I was laughing at the Sony sale of $1.00 to $1.50 you were so happy about.

im curious..Out of ALL the Metal Slug games why are they releasing MS3 for PS4/PSV/PS3? is that the only one that has never been released in NA or something? Dunno, seems i bit pricey for just one (old) Metal slug game *Shrugs*

And also, if anyone is interested in Metal slug 3 to play on the Vita i think it would make more sense if people just bought the Metal Slug Anthology Collection (that include's all the MS games) for PSV for alot cheaper($9.99) then Metal slug 3.
