If Kimbo Slice and Shaq can make it to the UFC 2010. I dont mind Bruce Lee being in this one. It's not like he's going to be an opponent in your career mode. He prob wont even be playable in online ranked matches. I dont see how him being in the game will make the game less enjoyable for you. Know one is forcing you to play as him. He is there for fun. He's there for all the fans he has. This is obviously a decision made to have the game sell more. As a fan of the sport, I hope the game sells alot. More ppl online. Im all for it.

There are still fighting styles used today that are developed from Jeet Kune Do. It is a game and the fighting system stays true to UFC, I don't see the problem.

Bruce Lee was the first to learn alot of martial arts and mix them together. Did those guys go learn boxing, judo, jiu jitsu, karate, to get a better knowledge on fighting? no. They had there one style and that was it.

Bruce Lee was like the first MMA practitioner. He was more then just an actor. Comparing him vs stallone is stupid.

Bruce Lee as a character you can use in exhibition matches is awesome... Kind of like in NBA 2K and MLB games you can unlock and use all time greats... and all time great teams by unlocking them... and then ONLY use them in exhibition matches. Bruce Lee was an accomplished fighter not just a "movie star" same as with Chuck Norris. Having the two of them in the franchise would be just fine with me. "Fans" getting upset by this news is a complete joke... lol

Kimbo Slice was an actual fighter in the UFC. So I wouldn't mind him in the game. I didn't know Shaq was in one of the previous games. That's worse that Lee.

Not buying the game, doesn't stop me from thinking it's stupid. And yes, it's obvious a way to try and sell more copies.

Seems to me the only people complaining are probably those that grew up post Bruce era. I was lucky enough to be alive while Bruce was making his movies and Living in SF. I'm glad Bruce is in and I might have to get this game even though I'm not a big fan of UFC.

Plus the whole "would Bruce Lee be any good in UFC?" argument has been around for ages, so yes, Bruce Lee does actually make a lot of sense as a bonus character, more so than Chuck Norris would.

Van damme would beat jackie chan pretty easily. I would even favour Van Damme over Bruce Lee due to his size.

Bruce Lee was a LOT more complete then the fighters in UFC 1. You do realise that rite? He was MMA before MMA even existed.

Would Bruce Lee get beat by today's MMA fighters? Yes, simply because fighting has evolved so much when the UFC was created. Bruce Lee does not have the grappling knowledge to to either defend a takedown or to stop a submission.

But this topic has been done a million times already at MMA boards. Almost everyone with a brain agrees. Bruce Lee wouldn't have a chance in the UFC.

If Bruce Lee fought the one glove boxer and beat him, we would be holding Bruce Lee in the same light as Royce Gracie in terms of MMA.

Bruce Lee is in the game because it makes sence to put him in. Chuck Norris in the game would have been stupid because there was nothing MMA about him. He was strictly Karate. Gene Lebell was Bruce Lee's Judo coach. That's serious.

If you put Bruce as he once was directly in our current UFC he would get crushed by everyone. But if you gave him time to adapt he'd r*pe so much face and for once a fighter fun to watch.

Van Damme? Are you serious? He's not anything close to Bruce Lee, it's not even up for debate. Bruce was a master, Van Damme was a buff action hero and that's pretty much it. Bruce had to prove time and time again how skilled he was, Van Damme was busy getting knocked out by the likes of Chuck Zito.
