E3 Battlefield 2042 livestream

Game will feature AI bots - you can play the game solo and play with 127 AI bots on the field. Great feature if you a noob gitgud scrub you want to practice.

Well, it wasn't on any of the E3 schedules I've seen, so this a surprise for me.

Not that I care much about Battlefield, or multiplayer games in general anyway.

I seen enough to know what I'm getting at Battlefield 2042, so the less surprised I see, the better. I'm already set to get it day one, so I'm skipping this livestream.

I've always enjoyed the Battlefield series my fav still being Vietnam so I'll most likely try this on PC.

@kingtito: Hope they return to history one day. Vietnam is such an interesting setting with the Huey's and the jets dropping napalm.

Yeah and with the vehicles blasting 60's music. It was pretty cool to experience

Can't have a Vietnam game without the Huey blasting 'Fortunate son' going into battle to get you pumped.

What was the last Battlefield game you played?

Battlefield 3 I believe. It's been so long I can't even remember.

Looks pretty good to me, hope my PC can handle it!

I'm just hoping they announce some much smaller scale things like 5v5 one life modes or 8v8. I mean I do like Battlefield and all except for the past 2 games, but I always preferred the smaller scale game modes like in BF4 and Hardline.

My favourite game modes these past two games have been the 32 player ones:

Rush and Frontlines both excel with smaller numbers and more focussed teamplay.

I have always liked Rush as my favorite slightly larger but not completely out of hand game mode. I feel as though they are missing the point with what made BF so enjoyable. I know a lot of people like the large scale battles, but I feel as though they don't need to keep pushing to make the scale larger and larger. Eventually things just get out of hand and there really isn't even a point. Sure, it sounds as though there will be more points now which is awesome, but with 128 players.... ughh.. I mean there is nothing you can do if half your team isn't very good. I have never been a fan of those bigger modes because it always seems as though I am placed on the losing side regardless of how well I play.
