Meh, lip syncing in Banishers was off putting too, you get over it after a while.
I'd rather have a good storied game with imperfect lip sync.

When its this bad, you do what Fromsoft does, which is NOT zooming in on characters face during conversations. Its the smartest thing.

I understand for performance reasons but the micro transactions are for things that can be acquired in game.
I'm 4 hours into the game myself and my experience has been this:
All tests are 4K maxed out everything (including RT ofc).
4K native: 30-50 fps in towns, 40-60 fps outside of towns
4K DLSS2-Q: 50-80 fps in towns, 70-120 fps out of towns
I obviously prefer using DLSS2-Q, so after 4 hours of gameplay I'd say my average frame rate is probably 80-90fps somewhere or so.
Unfortunately there are hiccups as your post mentioned. SHame about the ghosting with DLSS3
For me, DLSS3 frame generation has been 100% flawless in every single game I have played with the exception of:
Star Wars Jedi Survivor (though I was able to mod the ghosting away so now it looks exactly the same as DLSS2 or native to me.
Hogwarts Legacy: Lots of ghosting here as well especially noticable in UI and grass areas. I have yet to find a fix for this, though it wasn't as bad as SW:JS though.
But Cyberpunk 2077, Plague Tale 2, COD:MW, The Finals, Alan Wake 2, etc (literally everyother DLSS3 game other than the two one games above) have been 100% problem free for me and I leave it on in all of those games.
FSR3 FG on the other hand is garbage. I was so excited to see TLOUP1 got FG update but god damn it felt jittery and stuttery as hell. 175 fps frame generated felt like 50 fps.
Yea my decision to put this on the back burner and jump into stalker console trilogy before I buy this looks like a wise one....if the Devs can't even be bothered to optimise any versions before release and can't use the huge power advantage of the series X has over the weakstation 5 then I can't be arsed to buy it free with my MS rewards......yet

I run 4K/120 DLSS3-Q locked with very few dips (still north of 100fps) in open areas / combat and in the biggest town I have visited thus far the lowest dip I got was 83 fps.
Its not perfect, but from what I have learned dips/hitches exist in almost every game.
Only problem is the ghosting issues... if only they can fix that.

The game runs like ass but have you seen all the physics that happen at once when your ox cart is ambushed by a troll before a griffin and then a ton of random NPCs all start fighting at the same time? It's insane. The performance in town is inexcusable though.
