To be fair and balanced yes it is true Gran Turismo has it's share of bull shots. However, Gran Turismo realtime gameplay always manages to look 85-90% as good as the photomode pics and the cars keep all their features and detail when you race them. Maybe the AA is turned down during gameplay but that's about it.
On the other hand Turn 10 is hustling Forza fans. Their bullshots look NOTHING like the real time gameplay. The cars lose parts, polygons, resolution and texture quality in real time gameplay. Whole features go missing, from parts on the cars to details in the track. The cars look maybe 40-50% as good in real time as they do in bull shots and photomode pics.
What happened was Turn 10 created car models somewhat near to that of GT5, stuck 8 of them on screen at 720p (compared to GT5's 16 @1080p ) and the 360 spased out and spit it out. So just like how you have to turn the graphics down on that high end game on your PC to get it to run properly Turn 10 has done the same with 360.
This is unfair to the consumer, because on PC you can get a better PC and match the great screenshots developers show, but there's NO WAY you get graphics of the quality in the bullshots of Forza 3 for the 360.
