Do you play multiplatform games?

I think a better question would be why do people buy both an xboxone and ps4 instead of a wiiu and ps4, or xbox one. The latter offers way more.

The day I categorize in my mind a games worth based on how many platforms it releases on is the day I both need to quit this hobby and question my time spent believing the nonsense I read online...

Multiplatform games are the reason why I don't have any of the "next gen" consoles... Why bother getting a console when 90% of games are multiplatform and the last thing I want to do is play 90% of my games at 30fps at 1600x900, I got my self a GTX 780 Ti, a i5 with 8GB of RAM and this generation consoles can go suck a big one.

Of course I play multiplatform games. Most of the games I play are multiplatform games. If you don't play multiplatform games you miss out on a majority of the best games available in this hobby.

Multiplatform games outnumber exclusives many times over and it stands to reason that a majority of the games any one individual will enjoy will be multiplatform games.

A good game is a good game and I don't care if it is multiplatform or exclusive. I have no kind of bias for or against either type of game. I do think that exclusives often get overhyped beyond what they really deserve simply because they are exclusive, whereas some people downplay multiplatform games even if they are better than similar exclusives.

@wolverine4262: Yeah, the learning curve on Crusader Kings is pretty steep. It doesn't help that the tutorial doesn't get updated when the game does. The best way to learn is just to play as an Irish Earl and try to become king of Ireland. Starting small limits the more complicated mechanics at first, and there aren't any powerful characters that are going to come for your land any time soon.

I buy games I want to play. If I need a specific console to do so then so be it.

Multiplatform games are awesome, cross gen games are annoying, because I still want games that can't be done on last gen consoles.
