No, so no point buying another. I will buy Skyward Sword though... and Xeboblade. Then Goodbye Wii (into a dark box never to be seen again).SaltyMeatballs
the WiiU won't play Gamecube games, so if you own alot of them, you might wanna keep your Wii just for that.
Why would I sell the Wii, it has SMG2. Weird. Anyway, SS looks awesome, so it's another reason to have a Wii.
I haven't sold my but I don't think I'll pick up SS. I was intrested, but I don't feel like buying wm+ just to play it.
I gave away my Wii with Metroid, SMG 1 and 2, SSBB and a bunch of other games. I bought all the games and the only 1 I ever managed to beat was SMG. The rest bored me to tears. I just couldn't hande the motion controls and the games gave me no real reason to play them. I've rescued that princess a million f***ing times already.
ANyways, I won't be getting another one for Zelda. As much as I love Zelda, one game doesn't warrant a purchase.
I didn't sell my wii. I knew full well Zelda was coming out and if I sold it I would have to re-buy it so I just kept it. Pretty soon my wii will be able to fulfill it's destiny.
Nope. I didn't sell my Wii because I KNEW there were good games for the system even before the announcement of Skyward Sword.
Nope. Thankfully not too, I bought Metroid: Other M for 10 dollars new on the weekend. The game is excellent outside of the dialouge..lol.
I will for sure buy SS. I split Twilight Princess with my sister a month ago, I still need to get it from her which may be impossible.
No I did not sell my Wii because I wanna play Skyward Sword, Xenoblade, Dragon Quest X, The Last Story and Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny badly.
Didn't sell mine since I don't need the small amount of money it would bring me (I have a job).
I also play on it frequently so didn't feel the need to sell it.
Come to think of it I've never sold any console untill the next gen already started, lol. I'm not gonna sell the Wii at all though since I can play my vast amount of Gamecube titles on it next to Wii titles and Virtual Console titles. It's the ultimate gaming machine for me since it can pretty much play any great game from the past 20+ years.
Yeah, I sold my Wii to a friend and poor soul, he just told me lately that now he & his family never use it. :o Eh, I planned to borrow it from him when SS came out but TBH, I'm really not very pumped at all for this one now - I dunno, perhaps because "N" is launching a new console next year which begs the question, why oh why did "N" do this again with a Zelda game ? I mean, launching a Zelda game for their current gen console so close to the launch of their next gen console ? :?
I already did this. I spent $180 AUS buying new copies of Windwaker & Twilight Princess for the GC also though, & bought a Wii to play those.. Then I bought OoT & MM from the Wii Store. I've yet to play any of them (I've played OoT & MM many times before though) as I still haven't got around to ordering a quality GC controller..
But yeah, SS was what gave me the idea to buy it again in the first place. It's just been sitting around though as I spent 100+ hours on MHT last time I owned one, & can't really find something else to buy. Most Nintendo games are still $100 AUS despite being released as far back as 2007... They never drop the price, & I don't want to risk not enjoying a $100 game.
I don't get how people sell their consoles when they have games they like, even if there's a drought. I wouldn't even sell a 360 if I had one.
Collect as much as you can!
