Listen WE GET IT!, a console has fixed hardware that was put together at one point an time and ages as time goes on. WE GET IT,! hardware does not age due to the amount of usage it gets, time itself dictates that. Enough with this crap already and just make a good game would you?

I doubt they are considering I would think that what hardware they are going to be putting into the console will be decided well before launch, no? The hardware that came out on these things when they launched was a pretty big leapfrom last gen. No, they weren't in line with some of the top rigs, but seriously how could they have been? You have to think the hardware is customized for them, so you have to believe it was already created a year before or longer prior to having a living breathing unit.

I get a laugh every time you say this...and link a PC centric site that says it.

We all know MOBA games like LOL and MMOs and F2P games are what makes the revenue more than consoles.

So if your a dev/publisher and your game isn't one of those types of games....you go to console. If companies needed PC they wouldn't exclude them from their releases......like GTA V...the biggest game of last gen....made by a 3rd party studio.

If Rockstar thought it was really worth it....then they wouldn't have made the "master race" wait....and wait.

You guys HAVE to manipulate those stats...it's so fucking pathetic. Even the PCR article manipulates it. The major part of that revenue as a whole...are a few game types.

I'm sorry, but telling us here on a forum....isn't going to do any good. Devs and publishers don't read these forums...and if they did....they wouldn't be that fucking stupid.

They know where the money is...and thats why....just about all of them move to console. And like I've said....or do what Rockstar did and treat the PC as an afterthought.

that presentation by intel was a worthwhile watch.

It was a mistake for MS and Sony to go with PC architecture for their systems. The devs already know how it works and have pretty much maxed both systems out. It makes sense that Crytek would say what they say. The only one with potential for growth is the Wii U and you can see it evolving with each game generation. Its only getting better.

Crytek: maker of bad games.

The point of ryse was for a graphical showcase and it failed hard. Ryse was never meant to be a real game just some demonstration of the (Laugh) xbone power.
