Sonic ripoff, and Naughty Dog's only good IP has sold very well. This two year old port (of 3 games) for $60 looks about 2 generations ahead of Links Awakening hit 10 million copies sold. Absolutey 'very good.

The release of the Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy seems to have done surprisingly well according to the recently released sales statistics from its publisher Activision.

Before we jump into the exact sales of the title, here is a little bit of background on it. Back in 2017, Activision decided to bring back everyones favorite orange marsupial, the one and only Crash Banicoot. Titled the 'Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy' gamers had the pleasure of picking the three-game collection, the titles that were includes are; Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Bandicoot: Warped. The game was released onto the Xbox One, PC, PS4 and Nintendo Switch, and according to Activisions recently released Q4 2018 sales statistics the N.Sane Trilogy managed to sell more than 10 million units. This sales figure represents the sales across all platforms from 2017, which includes the later release of the N.Sane Trilogy on the Xbox One, PC and Switch on June 29th.

So what are they waiting for? Announce a new Crash already. Enough with the pretentious movie games. Give us some gameplay.

I bought it, realised it was only a nostalgia thing and then sold it.

I wanted to buy it but they launched it at around $50-60 CAD.

By the time it dropped down to $30, I lost the impulse to buy it.

Would rather wait for more price drops at this point.

"Naughty Dawgs only non-over-rated IP" is more like it.

This is kind of success you get when you release on all machines, because it becomes a standard, rather than just hapless exclusive a small segment will actually play.

I'm very happy that it sold well, it deserves it.

We need more games like this where the focus is on challenging gameplay instead of the typical movie-game that the AAA gaming scene has become obsessed with.

It's sad to think that these great games were originally created by Naughty Dog, but now Naughty Dog only cares about making movies instead of making more great games like Crash Bandicoot.

10 million is poor

20 million is poor

50 million is poor

Games now need to sell 50 trillion copies for me to bat an eye.

Their rant at the end about how Naughty Dog put the Crash Bandicoot section in to remind people about when they used to actually make games and give a taste of what fun used to be before they started to just make movies is literally the same exact thoughts that I had.

I haven't picked this up yet but plan to remember playing the og on the ps1 being blown away by the colourful 3D graphics. The remake has sold remarkably I don't think anybody would have predicted those sales.

Platformer is one of my favorite genre, but I'm not a fan of Crash at all. Hopefully the success of that remaster could create a platformer renaissance.

Wow.

Has nearly doubled the 6M lifetime sales of Link's Awakening on GB and GBC.

I didn't finish it unfortunately. Only because I never really grew up with Crash and wasn't feeling it. I might go back to it eventually. They are good games though. I grew up with Spyro as a kid. Still haven't played Spyro Reignited Trilogy though.

I grew up with Crash and didn't feel it either, just reminded me there not really great games and when your a child you are less fussy about games because you have less choice.

Crash Bandicoot 2 was bought for me as a birthday present, cant remember when but If I didn't play it I didn't have 100s of over games to choose from like today.
