In my opinion Virtua Fighter has always been the bottom of the barrell for fighting franchises. So it looks great, who cares? It'll probably still play like a Virtua Fighter game.
Call me nuts, but I'm calling 8.8...as many have stated before, graphics don't mean everything, and I'm not so sure that VF5 brings enough fresh ideas to the table to make it revolutionary.Â
It certainly looks fantastic though...no denying that.

Well, let's see. Street Fighter 2 was a great fighting game. Soul Caliber 1 and II were both great fighting games. Tekken 4 was pretty good, but not great IMO, Mortal Kombat games, for the most part, are not good fighting games but the fatalities are mildly entertaining. Virtua Fighter games just don't react quick enough for my taste.
Admittedly, there are much worse fighting games, but as far as the major popular franchises are concerned, I stand by my previous statement.

You need to sit down with someone who can educate you on what a great fighter is since you cant figure it out yourself. I can understand if you say "I dont like VF at all, I hate it" but to describe as a second rate fighter is lauphable... if you dont like it thats cool, but go over the history of the game. Its influence is massive and so is its following.Â

no one made up a false story the award was given to sony for their controller and they even confirmed it as the sixaxis but then a week later said oops we meant the dual shock

Its likely that the 360 will run in 1080p as well. You do know the 360 will have games that run in 1080p dont you? the first one I know of that I want is blue dragon.
And that is not a massive downgrade.. espiecially since only a tiny fraction of the people who purchase the game for either system will have a TV that can run 1080p.

I think its really sad how the super bowl sells TV's.  I mean I grew up playing sports and even playrd college ball but sitting around watching a game on TV is boring... I would rather go play a pick up game outside.... not to mention I could care less what resolution its in. I do have a 1080p TV but its for games games games.....
