Can't we agree PS2 is the greatest system ever?!!!

I mean, PS1 was amazing, PS3 is awesome, psp is pretty cool, but really the PS2 is the greatest Sony, and greatest system of all time.

The Super Nintendo was awesome, as well as Nes. N64 definitely had some high times. GAme cube was meh and so far the wii is meh.

The xbox was good, but Halo 2 and Fable made it. The 360 is literally a "360". MS was able to get devs to make the 360 AMAZING. Favorite system this gen hands down. It's 2nd on the greatest system list :)

I can't agree due to the fact that I didn't really like the PS2, I preffered the Xbox and what it offered i the way of online. I think we have it to thank for XBL and PSN today due its success.

I know there have been attempts by Sega with the dreamcast and that PC has had online for ages, but making it an integral part of console gaming is all microsofts work with the Xbox.

I probably would've been a bigger PS2 fan, but the PS2 belonged to my brother and we were never big on sharing :). As of now, the original xbox is still my favorite for games like Halo, Kingdom Under Fire, and Morrowind.

In terms of its games library, the PS2 is totally unrivalled.

However, I think then gen would have been even better if the Dreamcast or Xbox had the same amount of developer support. The former had a far superior team of first party talent and the latter was far more powerful. Both were much easier to code for than the PS2.

i agree with you mostly, except on the SNES and Dreamcast areas. The PS2 is a very, very good console but I do love my Dreamcast.

Although a SNES, Dreamcast and PS2 would result in the best console ever made.

Why PS3 so much lower than 360, there lineups are so similar.

I personally enjoyed PS1 the most: FF7, Tactics, MGS1, GT1, Medal of Honour, etc. Maybe I was just at a time in my life that I liked gaming more.

I have my fondest gaming menories from the snes. So for me it was the best ever. If your talking about just technical specifications, and not personal enjoyment then I would have to pick a different system, but still probablly not the ps2.

I enjoyed Ps1,Ps2,DC,N64 and the 360 (game wise for the 360 not hardware) equally.

I think so, but I could see how others would disagree.

I'd say it's pretty much impossible not to at least like it, though.

In my (highly valued) opinion, the SNES was better, but each to his or her own.

My brother had one so I can easily assess it's quality, although there were some good titles, I still feel the rose colored goggles have taken over at this point.deathtoallgods

Killzone 2 is the greatest of all time. It's so flawless and hyped and the box is shiny, the art is good, it's so amazing!!11! . Ocarina of time is the best adventure game though. PS3 IS LYFEPrydes

The PS2 is the 2nd greatest system with the original Playstation being the best system ever. Sony's PS1 showed the world that gaming is a perfectly legitmate adult pastime/hobby. The PS removed the gaming stigma and solidified gaming as a solid industry with a huge market.

As much as I love the other older consoles (Dreamcast,N64,SNES etc) I gotta agree that the PS2 is the greatest. I'm still playing the games on the PS2. I just got Digital Devil Saga and its freaking awesome so far.

PS1 was amazing for me, only because it had FF, PS2 only had FF10, which was great though too

Now only 360 seems to be getting 2D RPG's like those, so the good old days in next gen HD is only on 360 this generation, which is another reason i love the system, and gets FF13 too

wii nes snes genesis n64 ps1 xbox gb series ds and 360/ps3 are the best ever ! the rest i own rock too! and i currently own 916 games so its not hard to see how i like my consoles including wii ! playing my xbox now!
