Can the PS Vita sales be reVITAlised?

If SONY stays true to their word and developers start rolling out cross-play with regular titles, do you think the PS Vitas poor sales run can see an increase - even if a temporary one? It's interesting that SONY is still trying to make VITA and the XPERIA phones a mainstream part of the overall console experience and trying to unify these products.

It's sales can definitely improve however this handheld gen is gone for Sony. Hitting PSP sales would probably be an ideal result by the end of this gen for the Vita.

Sony is clearly doing something wrong when I'm ready to buy another 3DS (XL) instead of a Vita. I'm going to sell my old system, but I don't know where I'm going to put that money into.

I don't think it can hit 3DS numbers but if it gets games and a stellar e3 presentation than its possible I suppose.

Never say never. But right now they need a strategy and games to kick it off.

Hopefully Killzone: Mercenary is the Vita's killer app. It's certainly looking like it.

Nope because even Sony isn't stupid enough to force devolpers to do this cross platform, so it'll just be a gimmick that a few frist party games use.

I may have to get one if remote play is implemented on most games. Heil68

Start with Killzone: Mercenary, make it not total sh**, then toss on 5-10 more quality titles (new Dissidia wouldn't hurt)

I want games for the Vita that I can't get on the PS3/4. So crossplay isn't impressing me. Drop the price of the Vita and the memory cards as well as give me the type of games I want and I will buy one. Don't and I won't. So far Sony seems pretty dead set on seeing that the Vita fails.AmazonTreeBoa
