seriously !!!!!!!! I played cod4 multiplayer for a while then I got tired of it.

I was like NO I wont buy COd5 because it's back to World War and yesterday I bought COD5 and I love it !!!!! best online games come from Activision COD games

Meh, I'm not a big fan of either of them. Ho-hum meh shooters, imho. COD4 is better than COD: WAW, though.

the shooting feels better in cod5....but it's the same gameplay as cod4...plus you have vehicles unlike cod4.

their great fun and addicting at first, but lose their spark quite fast after a while and i find my self going back to my regular online gmaes in counter strike 1.6, tf2, and even cod:UO

Half life 2 deathmatch makes all of the call of duty games seem outdated....using the gravity gun online is the ****.

plus you can use the hovercraft online lol.

COD5 hasnt come out yet :P World at war isnt CoD5 its just another spin off the way I see it. And halo 3 is the best online on consoles this generation COD cant even touch it.

Personally, I'd rather play Gears of War 2 or Counterstrike online than CoD4 or WaW.

yeah, thats why the amount of players playing cod4 online exceeded the amount of players playing halo 3 online via xbox live...

no, you disagree with him, because CoD beats all of those games (well apart from Counterstrike, which is a classic online game).

Lol, CoD4 STILL has more people playing it than Halo 3 and this is with CoD5 clocking in on an average approximation of about 130 000 people a day online at the same time and about 50 000 during the night. CoD4 still has around 75 000 approximately every day. I know this because i play both games and I see the numbers. Halo 3 isn't the best online game, I have that game too and its online is abysmal compared to those two games and not as many people play it.

Resistance 2 is the most fun I have had online in a while. I have played alot of online multiplayers, including counter strike source, Team Fortress 2, Unreal Tournament etc., but nothing as crazy as a 30 on 30 brawl across a freaking log. Great fun. CoD 4 is ok for online, it was very entertaining unlocking weapons and such, but it eventually became a grind. It wasn't very competitive, and alot of people took it too seriously and others just wern't very good. It was just too simple. Sniper, head shot, sniper, head shot, sniper, head shot, congratulations you have unloacked a new useless upgrade. It became very boring for me, and match making is one of the most useless gimmicks I have ever seen. Can I not just choose the game I want to play instead of being thrown back in to the one I just left? I suppose you wouldn't have that on the PC, but to be honest I wouldn't have been playing with people I know, and that would have made it even worse.

Call of Duty 4 and 5 are "ok". They are fun every once and awhile - but they don't even compare to the likes of Counter-Strike, Starcraft, TF2, Left 4 Dead, Diablo 2, etc.

CODW@W is garbage, im returning it for Resistance 2. CODW@W is practically COD4 with a WW2 skin. Its not worth 60 bucks.

Disagree. I bought COD 4, and only played the multiplayer once. I did enjoy the campaign. Wish it was a bit longer...

I'm sorry but my opinion > your opinion and I believe that Counter Strike, Left 4 Dead, and Unreal Tounry are much better online games.

Agreed. Left 4 Dead is the most fun I have ever had with a shooter online. Played for 3 hours last night with some strangers and it convinced me that it is the funnest online shooter experience going right now. All my opinion, of course.

i liked cod 5 more then cod 4, just because it's not as easy, at least that's what I think. also it's easier to hide, which I love :D

This. I'd say Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Metroid Prime: Hunters, and Mario Strikers: Charged, too, but I don't really like playing those games online... But Mario Kart Wii is great fun online.
