Orange Box, Milkage. Just No. I would have payed full price for tf2 and portal alone, then to add a new Hl episode and updated versions of hl2 and ep 1 aswell... Well thats anything but milkage

weve got GH 3 dlc, then Guitar hero 4 then the guitar hero ds, then the guitar hero aerosmith edition, then the metallica edition, ITS TO MUCH and all of this is gonna be in the span of just a few months, its insane, its gonna kill the rythem genre, why couldnt they just offer all the aerosmith songs and metallica songs as dlc? cause why are people gonna buy all this dlc when you know that it wont carry over to the other games and its just getting crazy

CAPCOM-Heres an example lost planet hmm 360,ps3,pc now a new edition give it up make a sequel or forget it

Atari-ex Make dragonball games with minor changes not you release a new game with the same number as the first budokai look at burst limit its exactly like budokai 1 only changes I seen was you can it ppl into teh air and they used the psp gameplay even the specials are the same lol.

Exactly, the only Zelda game i enjoyed a Majoras Mask and even that one i didnt finish (My save got corrupted and i never wanted to play it again)

Koei - There Dynasty Warriors and Samurai warriors are always rushed rehashed. I admit I'm addicted to these games and use to always buy them. But now they are actually getting worst like EA's Madden games so I just play the old ones. It's a real shame, a nonlinear Dynasty warriors with good group tactical combat(In DW all of your allies are wimps and you have to run around to protect them) I think it could be a beginning of a cool new genre.

ea milks sport games to death, ubi is milking the ghost recon and rainbow 6 series to death, tony hawk has been milked to death and call of duty is on the same path if iw doesn't do something new very soon.

Square Enix. There are so many FF spin offs and sequels!

Also Nintendo. Each Zelda, Mario, Pokemon etc game has a VERY similar story.

Capcom and SEGA are also pretty bad for re-releasing old games, SEGA has release HoTD on every console known to man, and they are remaking Dreamcast games for Wii, which is fine by me...if they used decent games...

nintendo lets see in the past we have seen so many pokemon iterations it makes squares milking look tame. see also nintendo releasing the same games with minor graphic improvements: zelda, metroid, mario, smash brothers, mario kart. (not bashing the fun factor, but really, these are the same games we have been playing for years now)

Sony milking the gran turisimo demo........charging over half price of a normal game for a freaking demo.....sony wins as the biggest milkers in my opinion.

Square-enix-remaking countless FF and DQ games for all systems. The market is practically flooded with them.

I'm sure there are more... but to me its only milking if its not worth playing.

I agree with AgentA-Mi6, Square Enix spin offs are ok with me. Mario games are definetly annoying. However I dont consider it milkage. Niether is releasing RE4 on all platforms. The wii version may be milkage... however it does bring a lot to the table for the wii release.

I dont believe sequels quilify as milkage, milkage is like giving you something and then draining you for basically the same product with minimal improvements. Microtransactions in any game is milkage. Pokemon red/blue can be considered milkage because they are same game, same platform but you have to get both to get all pokemon if you dont have a friend with it.

EA's sport games I consider milkage because, unlike other sequals/spin offs there is mostly nothing new other then a few tweaks and roster update. FF spin offs revel for of the FF7 story, add characters etc (whether or not they are high quality is something else).

Milkage is anything that gives you the same experience but makes you pay for it again. Sequels are not milkage, just a developer screwing up. Milkage is like when they release GoW and then maybe rerelase GoW with exclusive content. (AN EXAMPLE)
