"It turns out that the girl actually isn't the main character. She's the main character's companion. The main character appears to be you -- the player. Your goal is to reach the exit on the top floor of labyrinth. The girl accompanies you.

The genre for Beyond the Labyrinth is "3D Dungeon RPG." As you explore the dungeon, the lower screen draws out a map for you.

You'll encounter enemies along the way. Run into an enemy -- they're visible in advance -- and the game will switch to battle mode. The battle system is a bit mysterious at present, but it seems as though you can have four members in your party.

No confirmed release Date as far as I know, but I'm sure we'll here more about it at TGS. :)

Don't know, but since this is from Konami and developed by tri-Ace and Nintendo is not in any way involved, this has a chance of coming out here. Don't expect this until 2012 tho.

Well this was announced way before they showed anything about the 2nd analog. But I can see how it would help seeing how this looks like it's from a 1st person perspective and is about exploration, so looking around while moving would be nice.

Once a release date is annouced I'll be all over this game like gravity on a bowling ball.

3ds screens are hard to do. Duo the it beening 3d and the odd aspect ratio. small screen games dont look good blown up on our monitors. so its going to look even better on the 3ds.

We'll see plenty of those on either just like with DS/PSP. Considering handhelds are way more popular in Japan than console that'll help too. Aswell as the fact that the Vita is on par graphically with both the PS3 and 360 so it might get it's share of multiplatforms and WRPGs.
