Poll Best Video Games Based On Movies??? (14 votes)

Ghostbusters: The Video Game 7%
LEGO games(Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Pirates...) 7%
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World 7%
The Thing 0%
Wanted: Weapons of Fate 0%
Scarface: The World Is Yours 14%
Toy Story 3: The Video Game 0%
Spider-Man games(Spider-Man 2, Ultimate Spider-Man...) 7%
The Walking Dead 21%
King Kong 0%
Terminator: Salvation 7%
The Lord of the Rings 7%
The Chronicles of Riddick 21%
X-Men Origins: Wolverine 0%

Not going to add games that are based on something else like Batman AC because it is not based on movie.

I would added Goldeneye 007 but then this thread would be pointless because then 99% votes would go there. So i won´t add winner. It will be more interesting to see more games that are not that good but some of those are good :)

What are best games based on movie? Most games are bad IMO. What you think?

Survival instinct was based on the series, and was absolutely awful.

The Walking Dead by Telltale, was based on the comics and was really good.

Anyway, I liked MoH:AA the most, loosely based on Saving Private Ryan.

Scott Pilgrim with my second choice being The Walking Dead trounce any of those on that list. Scott Pilgrim got my vote cause it embodies the style of the film

Ghostbusters would be my favorite. It was written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis, just like the movies.

Waking Dead is based on a comic book that came out after the TV adaptation and they've nothing connecting the two medias so I don't consider it TV/movie based. Still a great game.

Scott Pilgrim is a good retro style side-scrolling beat-em up but it's still just an old style side-scrolling beat-em-up... also based off a comic, though a mix in its comic and film influences.

Why isn't Shogun 2 listed? My freinds, this is the factually correct obnoxious answer.

As huge of a SNES fan as I am (my all time favorite console) these two games actually had a slightly better outing on Genesis. Actually, Aladdin was significantly better on Genesis.

But yeah, overall I agree, these games were pretty damn great for their time. Not just by movie game standards either.

I used to love the old Harry Potter games (up to Goblet of Fire), and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King was amazing as well.
