You make it sound like any company can just come along and put out a game and it will automatically sell over 10 million because it comes with a cheap perephial, if that were the case then why isnt every game company doing it? I don't like what Nintendo is doing this gen, but it's obvious that comments like these are desperate attempts to minmize their success.

Well, GT 4 seems to have sold 9 mil, so maybe you're right. I wasn't aware that racing sims were such a hot property.

Why do people include Wii Sports into things like these? Its like saying the 360 has sold 28 million headsets...its just stupid to include free software like that into sales discussions. People don't say the Wii's sold 40 million controllers why?..it comes standard the same way wii sports does..

I agree with you 110%. At least WII Sports 2 looks enjoyable without stupid gimmicks (the Dog, Cat, and Rapper suit comes to mind).

Those complaining, why? Wii Sports is awesome, WiiPlay is essentially a $10 game (and Tanks alone is worth that price) Mario Kart Wii can be debated as one of the best MKs ever. I'm sure WiiSports Resort will be just as good, if not better then the original. Stop whining, all these games deserve their sales.

No, Mario Kart would have sold very well without the wheel (although I myself think it at least helped sales with casuals). All I'm saying is that it's not "scary" for Wii Fit or Wii Play to be at the top of the sales charts when much of the sales are due to the controller/balance board.

i totally agree.

i would choose the same order since everybody knows that the wii games sells best

but if i have too choose just 1 game it would be wii sports ! its unbeatable this gen
