Best main menu in a game?

(I'm trying to do an original thread here :P)

To me, main menus are pretty much the start of the judging of a video game, the presentation to be more specific, I love a good sleek menu, and a great background song doesn't hurt either.

My choices: (Good luck finding actual screenshots, I sure as heck couldn't get any :lol: )

-Metroid Prime 3 Corruption

Only screenshot I could find :P

The sleekness and futuristic look of the menu had me smiling, and the transparent bug (Was it a Metroid?) coupled with the music just made it better.

-Super Smash Bros. Melee (Ok I'm just giving up on looking for screenshots. :lol: )

The music with the changing colors depending on where your cursor was entertained me.

-No More Heroes

Where else will you find someone on the toilet while choosing options?

The main menu isn't truly sleek, but the soothing music helps.

-Halo 2

I like the song on it more than the other Halos, and the "level loading" menu is nice as well.

Star Wars Battlefront 1 & 2, purely for the music

Mass Effect or Kingdom Hearts 2. I could listen to those games' theme music all day long :)

The forza 3 menu is really sleek.

I love KZ2 menu mainly because the music playing during it is freaking awesome.

MGS4 title screen is awesome too.

As much as I love mah PC, to be completely honest, from all the games I remember playing, almost none of them had worthwhile menus. :(

the one thing I hate about mgs4 title screen is this red filter put over the graphics, screws up the colours.

Mass effect is awesome as well.

I also have to give credits to mass effect's intro. From the discussion wether you should become a spectre, to the awesome text detailling the background story, finishing it off it mass effect, all while playing awesome sci fi music. I came.

Dead Rising.

Simple. Elegant. And so Dawn of the Dead.

I also preferred Echoes to Corruption, like I preferred Echoes to everything else in the Prime series.

Metroid Prime hunters - the menumusic is absolutely amazing but the design itself is nothing special

Kingdom Hearts 1 - music gets me every time

I love the menu music from Wipeout HD Fury. The Menu itself isn't bad either.

Dirt2

GUitar Hero 3's menu is pretty sexy.

I also loved the menu in Sonics Ultimate Genesis Collection, it kept all the games more organized then I thought it would, and that rating feature comes in handy for when Im just looking for something good to jump into real quick.

I'll say Borderlands. I like to see the claptrap start dancing and complain that's it's bleeding oil.

Halo CE

Greatest menu music ever.

Uncharted DF had great music too.

Hands down for the worst is R: FOM :(

Brutal Legend.

While I only got the demo, I remember Dirt having a fantastic presentation.

-Love all 3 Halo's. Say what you want about the game, but the menus always get me in the mood to play it.

-Metroid Prime. Even just watching that video...that opening menu gives me that total sense of isolation and atmosphere the game gives you.
