I regret buying a gamecube. Other than brawl/RE remake the system was truly useless.zaku101Yeah that was not a great system nintendo had 3 major faults 1. No online, 2. Bad third party support, and 3. releasing to many spinoffs of good series like Mario they made Sunshine which was a normal platforming mario game but until super mario galaxy there was really no normal mario platforming game on consoles.

Brawl was on the NGC? Wow, how come I never knew :D
The only system that I ever had troubles with, not regret because it was great, but I dont have it anymore was the 360. Burned after 6 months, decided to sell it and I wont be getting one again anytime soon. Its sad, because it has some killer games, but I prefer to be sure that I can play long marathons of gaming without inconveniences. (and because in my country there is only a 6 months warranty so I cant play russian rullette).
Maybe, the only system I will ever, ever regret getting was the Virtua Boy. Man that piece of sh** sucked hard.
If you don't like the system then sell it.
The only regret I've ever had for a console was the Gamecube. Only because I sold my Dreamcast and 20+ of the games to get one. I was in for a rude awakening. I rebought my Dreamcast years later so now I don't hate the Cube anymore. It actually has a lot of great games.
I regretted getting a Wii. Sold it a few months ago. But the 360 was easily my best move this gen.
I regretted buying a DS at launch. That thing had practically little to nothing for a year. And the system had hardly anything good from the third parties till like two years later. I'll rebuy DS. But only because of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.
TBH i felt like buying all consoles was a mistake imo..i could have saved that money for games or upgrading my computer...considering many games are multiplats i just wasted almost about $1200 on console games and acc..
Pinkyimp
Lol, at least you learned something.
Should have never wasted a single penny on the PS3.Stevo_the_gamer
buyers remorse? well im VERY happy with my 360. sold my Wii to pay for upgrades to my PC, which i also think was worth every penny.
Let me think about that for a minute.
Hhhhmmmm... let's see. I own ALL 3 NEXT GEN CONSOLES.
Nope, I bought all the right consoles. I do wish the Wii had a few more quality games though. Like 5% of their games are worth playing. The rest is just crap. For every Super Mario Galaxy game, there are 10-15 crappy games like Ninja Reflex, Wing Island, Big Beach Sports or Target: Terror. Who makes this garbage?
Well, the 360 is right for me at the moment, being an RPG fan. Valkyria Chronicles is making me want a PS3, but I'll need several other solid reasons before I jump on that ship too.
So, no, I feel like I bought just the right console for me.
nope
I regret selling consoles though
killerfist
Yeah, I regret selling my Sega Master System, Ps1 & PS2.
Hung onto my N64 and xbox1 though!

Broke on me, firmwire update messed my system up -- so either pay $150 to get it replaced or use my warranty I bought at best Buy to get it replaced. The thing was, Sony and their infinite knowledge decided to discontinue the 40GB; thus, screwing me over considering I couldn't get a replacement from best Buy -- they instead gave me a Gift Card for teh amount I purchased, $401.23; the 60 dollar warranty and the 30 dollar tax... not included. Obviously. So either lose 150 dollars or lose 90. I picked the 90.[QUOTE="BoloTheGreat"][QUOTE="Stevo_the_gamer"]Should have never wasted a single penny on the PS3.Stevo_the_gamer

I picked the 90.my ps3 freezes up a lot, i bought mine at walmart, and an extended warranty, but those fools wouldn't even give me store credit. me and my bro are stuck with a ps3 that freezes a lot. i'm too lazy to send it in, so i guess restarting it every hour isn't so bad, because i play mostly multiplayer.
but for now, my regret is getting the ps3, my brother seems to think so as well. hopefully some of these upcoming games will change our minds, if not, maybe its selling time.
Nope. The Wii is the only console I have this gen. I also never bought any Nintendo Console before, so franchises like Mario, Metroid, Animal Crossing, Pikmin and Zelda are new to me, so I don't feel like I'm playing rehashes (even if I know they aren't:P).
I also am looking forward to new games in the future like Animal Crossing, Pikmin and other great third-party titles comming in the future. So yeah I don't regret my console purchase.:D
