Atlus To Announce Brand New Title Very Soon

Japanese development powerhouse Atlus has revealed that they plan to show off a brand new game sometime in the very near future. The news was revealed by the company during this week’s Tokyo Game Show and will come as welcome news to fans. Atlus consumer software bureau director Naoto Hiraoka told Famitsu “we’ll have a brand new title to announce very soon.”

If I could wish upon a star, Catherine 2, or already getting Persona 6 ready to start, or maybe they're making a definitive Persona 3/4 collection. More likely, just another generic looking Etrian Odyssey game for the 3DS, Untold 3 by my guess.

The name mentioned in the interview, Naoto Hiraoka, Giant Bomb lists here as a production manager that's worked on these games, including a few Persona games, as well as Catherine and some Trauma Center games. I'd be fine with any of those.

They certainly did a number of games on the PS2, SMT3: Nocturne, Digital Devil Saga 1/2, two Devil Summoner games, Persona 3 & Persona 3 FES, and Persona 4. Kind of crazy they had very little to show on PS3 outside of PS2 classics. While on PSP and Vita putting out Persona, two Persona 2 games, Persona 3 Portable, and on Vita Persona 4: The Golden. Since then Nintendo seems to have gotten some attention, Devil Survivor 1 & 2 on DS and now remakes on 3DS, Strange Journey on DS, Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers remake for 3DS, SMT4 for 3DS, and Persona Q for 3DS. And, let's not forget, SMT x FE on Wii U. If Atlus ended making another SMT or SMT subseries other than Persona on the PS4, I'd be very curious if that's indicative of a shift in focus on Atlus's part away from Nintendo in the future.

We've got Miyazaki working on Dark Souls 3, so let's get the B-team who made Dark Soul s 2 to make another spinoff.

Just release it for PC, for ****'s sake. Bloodborne is PS4 exclusive which is brutal because there is nothing else I want to play on that platform so I would never buy one, so I'm just not going to play it.
