At least some reviewers tried to save crackdown 3

Clearly very sad on the outcome of the game but still doing their very best to keep the scoreline above 60 on meta critics. Great efforts from all involved into making sure this great game gets its deserved score. I am predicting it will rise to 62 by tomorrow and will bring home some awards for most fun game of this decade, and some will nominate as GOTY contender. I will say I love Nintendo and Mario for a whole week it does.

What?? Not sure what point you are trying to make here?

The reviews didn't even try to save the game, they were trying to save the gamers for not paying full price for it. If anything, we the gamers knew this was going to flop from a mile away and totally expected this outcome.

I was actually expecting those outlets to give the game 8s and 9s for the arbitrary "fun" scale. When even the greatest Microsoft stans like Jez Corden gave the game a 6, I knew this game was doomed. They actually showed more restraint than I thought.

It's a game and by default better than most of Sony's "games".

I played a bit last night and it was exactly what a Crackdown game looked and felt like (nothing special).

5+ years in the making, and this is what we get.

Of course, hadn't you see the meta? Xbox games consistently outrank Sony and Nintendo games.

Sony fans are waiting for Days Gone launching this April and there's nothing to talk about current PS4 games at this time.

@sakaixx: It's not a critic's job to "save" anything; it's their job to honestly report about the quality and content of a game.
