I disagree, Those pics are hilarious any time of the day, any day of the year. Have you guys had a sense of humour bypass or something?

Everytime I see someone reference the Nintendo64 in Wii graphic threads, it makes me certain that NIntendo made the right decision in not focusing on power. Why? Because I went back and checked out a bunch of Nintendo 64 screen-shots and even the games with the worst graphics on the Wii are way, way, way more impressive from a technical standpoint then Nintendo 64 games. So what's importance of this? Well, the difference between the Wii's techical power and the Nintendo 64 is considerably larger then the difference between the PS3/Xbox 360 and the Wii and the fact that people can confuse the graphics of the N64 and the Wii prove to me that generational jumps have gotten to the point where they are hardly as noticeable as before. This makes artistic direction more important.
