Aside from visuals, what will be the better FPS? Killzone 3 or Crysis 2?

Killzone 2 excelled at multiplayer though Crysis and the story for both is personal opinion but I had a blast playing both of them. Killzone 3 has so many new multiplayer features, Crysis 2 multiplayer looks bland and uninspiring, Killzone 3 wins this one no question.

So far it looks like Killzone 3 will have the better story by far, GG hired one person to write the story for the game where in K2 they didn't have anyone focusing on the story and quite frankly judging by the new story trailer, Killzone 3 looks like it will have the better story by far.

What do you think?

I'd say killzone 3. Guerilla is improving on every possible aspect over killzone 2.

the more i see crysis the more it looks okay, i mean i always wanted to play crysis but never had any strong hardware to run it and still dont, so i'm interested in crysis 2 but i want a demo before i consider it. Now killzone 3 looks like a beast and its one of my anticipated games this year

Crysis 2 doesn't look all that impressive to me. Killzone 3 doesn't look all the that impressive either, but it definitely looks better.

If this new PS3 hacking thing becomes rampant, Crysis 2.

I don't understand this here, the multiplayer isn't your typical shooter like KZ2... the problem was it just didn't catch on enough, but I'm not sure how you could call it bland and uninspiring when it doesn't play like most shooters...

I don't think I have seen Cryisis 2's multiplayer, from what I heard though it looks just like COD.

I thought Crysis 1 was remarkably good at drawing you into the combat system, making each kill satisfying and difficult (on Delta difficulty of course). Never had so much fun hunting men through the forest. If Crysis 2 can improve on that gameplay mechanic (doubtful tbh) I don't think it can be touched.

yeh crazy 32 player power struggle with aircrafts, suit powers, and large maps is anything but bland...

the problem was the hit detection didn't seem quite right and it just didn't catch on. But I had some great ORIGINAL experiences in it.

I actually thought he was talking about crysis one (since he was talking about KZ2 and crysis 1), I dropped the ball there.

If the mp is as bad in Crysis 2 as it was in Crysis, then Killzone 3.

If we consider Crytek´s game and Guerrila´s games(Far Cry,Crysis,Warhead,Killzone,Killzone 2),to me it´s only natural to assume that Crysis 2 will be better.

Crysis's gunplay and AI wasn't too good. the graphics are great, it has a huge open world (though the game itself is quite linear), and the suit powers are awesome, but the core gameplay wasn't that great to me.

from playing both the prequels i need to say killzone 3, while crysis looked amazing the gameplay seemed standard and story was boring to me

killzone 2 had some slight input lag and ran at 30fps. Also, they got rid of the input lag for killzone 3.

Huh run n gun? Killzone 2 was anything but run n gun, have you played it? It has the best FPS cover system i've ever used. Gameplay wise Killzone 2 was better than Crysis 1.

If Crysis 2 is anywhere near as awesome as the first, it'll easily win (single player wise)

But Killzone 3's Multiplayer will be quite amazing :D and single player hopefully will be as well.

I'd say Crysis 2 in SP and MP. As long as that new Crytek studio doesn't F'up the multiplayer too badly/copy CoD too much, then it should be good. SP wise I think Crysis is amung the best SP FPS games out there so I'm hoping for Crysis 2 to improve on the formula Crysis 1 laid down. Not too excited for Killzone 3. KZ2 was a good game BUT everything besides teh vizuhals was overrated imo so I'm not expecting much out of KZ3.

Plus I'll be playing Crysis 2 with a KB/M, the best way to place FPS :P

Crysis 2 looks much more impressive and IMO shooters are best played on PC. So Crysis 2 it is.

For what it's worth I enjoyed Crysis 1 more than I did Killzone 2, but to me it looks like KZ is improving much more on its gameplay. If i feel like I'm just playing Crysis 1 over again while I feel like I'm actually playing an improvement in KZ3 then I'll pick KZ3. (This is all assuming Crysis isn't changing much).

I think crysis 2 will e better because killzone 2 was my least favorite fps i have played in the last 5 years. I enjoyed crysis it just had a scale that made it awsome and the combat you had some pretty fun choices.

Anyways, Crysis 2. Killzone 2 was your typical dull uninspired hallway shooter. It's campaign bored me to death.

Strictly PS3? Killzone 3 easily. But I absolutely loved the gameplay of Crysis (even more so than the graphics) and if they can keep the tight gunplay for the sequel I will love it :D

Didnt like either Killzone 2 or the 1st Crysis.... though to be fair the controls are the reason i didnt like killzone 2, and I heard they are being fixed for the 3rd one. And from the new trailer for KZ3 it looks amazing.
