Are you playing any old games also besides new games currently?

Started playing Farcry 4 for first time today, Having a blast .Have GTA IV The Complete Edition and GTA V installed and ready to play as well.

My man, I still play PacMan, Joust and 1942 ( just to mention some of the “old” games I still play ).

I usually play an older game along with 2 new games.

I think he means 1942 the top down airplane shooter. It was quite popular in my house.

Personally I played more Black Hawk as a kid.

My brother-in-law is getting back into gaming after years away from it. Sucked him back into it with Gears 4 last year, we play a lot of Horde online together, but he plays very little else. Recently got him to try The Division, and he's learning how to manage the stat effects of his gear, learning the quasi-RPG elements, which might help broaden his appreciation for other games that mix action and RPG elements. I think it was a good pivot, he seems to really like it so far, we spent like 8+ hours together in one sitting the other day ago.

Beyond that, got sucked into playing Bioshock remasters again, they were on sale, all for ~$20, and they're too fun to put down.

Ninja gaiden black, nba jam on fire edition. I also fire up my dreamcast regularly on Sunday mornings and play NFL blitz, shenmue, nba 2k1. I'd say I play old games more than the new stuff with the exception of cuphead and sonic mania....which are retro style games.

I've been playing Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, Doom II: Hell on Earth and was thinking about giving Medal of Honor: Airborne a go.

Killing Floor 2 on the X, fun online co-op game, lot of craziness.....great game for when you want to turn off your brain

I still play Blitzkrieg among the more modern games. There aren't many RTS games nowadays.

Not really ‘old’ per se but I’ve been playing lots of Gears of War 4 multiplayer in the past few days. Love the ‘Thanksgibbing’ playlist.

Company of Heroes 2 is still going strong. With Ardennes Assault being one of the best RTS campaigns I played in the past years.

Blitzkrieg is a really, really great game.

Sure, I play old games constantly. I'm partway through Chrono Trigger, Sonic, I've got games going in AOE2, Diablo 2, Thief 2... you name it. When I finish TW3 expansions and HZD I'm going to dive in on Vampire Bloodlines and Skies of Arcadia

I keep forgetting about the Company of Heroes series. Looking at the system requirements..... Yup. It should run okay on the laptop.

I still watch old movies, read old books and listen to classic Rock/Metal. Why wouldn't I still play games like System Shock 1&2, Half Life 2 & episodes, Deus Ex (not much because I really enjoy MD) among a plethora of others. I recently finished Wolfenstein NO, still play Halo Wars2 and am playing BOTW on WiiU as well as SMO on Switch.

Its a reason I lol when cows say X1 has no games. I have 3TB filled of games I can play on my X1X. I've completed 25% of them. If I have yet to play any of them, the game is a new experience.

I've been on a Metal Gear Solid V (Xbox One) kick lately. I've been playing the game since it came out, but recently I've got back into playing it every day.

Been playing Counter-Strike 1.6, Counter-Strike Source, and Counter-Strike Global Offensive. And also Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Bad Company 2. Yep I been playing a lot of multiplayer games since I been playing nothing but singleplayer for a while before.

I love retro gaming, so I play old games frequently. In many ways, I prefer retro gaming over modern gaming and I think that I probably spend more time playing old games than new stuff.

Some of the old games that I've played within the past month or two are:

• I got together with some friends for a day of N64 multiplayer and we played:

• Around Halloween time, I played:
  • The original Castlevania
  • Resident Evil 4
• I took out the Dreamcast one day and played:
  • Crazy Taxi
  • Typing of the Dead
• My friends and I frequently play the following remakes of old arcade games on Xbox Live:
  • NFL Blitz
  • NBA Jam
  • Hydro Thunder
• When I feel stressed, I often like to turn on the Atari 2600 and play:
  • Kaboom (This game is the best escape from the stress of my real life because this game requires me to concentrate 100% on the game in order to do well. If my mind thinks about anything else for even a second, I will lose, so the game does not allow me time to think about any outside stress going on in my life. This is what gaming should be all about in my opinion, not the crappy movie games and walking simulators that are popular nowadays.)

Company of Heroes 2 along with Ardennes Assault is on sale at the moment on Steam (COH: Master collection I think it's called)

Definitely worth a purchase if you are looking for a more recent RTS :)

Skyrim and Fallout New Vegas now. I finished Red Dead Redemption two weeks ago.

I still go in for a MP game or two of Comapny of Heroes 2 maybe once or twice a week

@cainetao11: 2.5 TB X360 games and not as much as you but close ( like 2 1/2 TB ) of that system without games ( have you played Rise & Shine ? Man, it’s fun ! ). I do have PS4 and out of all those “mouth watering” exclusives Sony fangirls like to brag so much about I only care about 2, if it weren’t for multiplats ( specially Overwatch ) my PS4 would have a 3 inch layer of dust.

Yes sir, Warframe, Panzer Dragoon Saga, and Mario Odyssey. Love them all quite a bit.

I beat Max Payne, Red Faction, and Modern Warfare Remastered on PS4 a few days ago. I've also been playing Ape Escape 2 and GTA San Andreas.

Agreed. WWE 2K18 and all of the wrestling games that 2K have been releasing since they acquired the license have been terrible. I keep renting these games every year hoping that they will get good, but I unfortunately don't expect their wrestling games to get any better.

I know it will probably never happen, but nothing would make me happier than if they remastered No Mercy. Just update the graphics, improve the frame-rate, and add online play and then leave the rest alone because the rest is already perfect. Of course, if they did this, I bet many people would stop buying the current crappy 2K games and just stick to playing No Mercy.

I played Quest for Glory 1 - 4 just a couple months ago. Importing my character to every game; paladin style. Amazing games. Still plan on doing 5 soon.

Most of what I've been playing for the last couple of years have been older games,either replaying them or playing stuff I wanted to play back in the day but didn't. The only new release I played this year was Sonic Mania.

Nope. Right now only playing FIFA 18 and XCOM2: WOTC. But after I get tired of them I will probably start with my backlog that is mostly older games.
