The only real difference is the controller some games simply work better with the 360's triggers.
Oh and Dragon Age and FFXIII looked noticeable better on the PS3
Hazzard6X
No they don't. In the cutscenes for FFXIII yes, but not ingame. As for Dragon Age, I don't know where you heard that but it doesn't look any better.
Huh? Wrong on both accounts my friend. We are talking about looks here, so...
Let's talk FFXIII. Besides the horrible cutscenes on the 360 port of FFXIII which you do know about, the 360 FFXIII Port also suffered sub HD resolution in GAMEPLAY, compared to 720p resolution for PS3. This was noted at multiple sites. I feel for those gamers that didn't research before purchase and own both machines. Same for Bayonetta 360 superiority to a lesser degree. I thought the 360 port job of FFXIII was common knowledge on the internet and on SW especially. It's really bad the larger the HDTV screen you have, as I've seen it first hand. Remember too, FF series Cutscenes are supposed to be a grandiose payoff in between gameplay, making those cut scenes hurt even more so.
Gamespot is only one of many sites that talked DragonAge differences (Dragonage is AAA on PS3, AA on 360)...enjoy the read. Yes, we are talking about looks because you claimed incorrect information.
I myself, don't care too much unless it's drastic enough like Bayonetta 360, FFXIII PS3, DragonAge PS3, etc. Even then, these aren't that drastic to me that I coudn't play the other versions, it's just that I don't have to worry about that since I have all the machines.
