Anybody playing Final Fantasy 12 remaster?

I'm loving it so far. I never finished it way back in the day because of 10,000 other games. Played a lot of games witih Ivalice though.

I think i'm the only person on earth that liked Revenant Wings on 3ds.

Grabbed it yesterday. I only played for an hour, but i'll be playing more this weekend.

Nope. I liked it a lot. For having different gameplay it really felt like the main game.

Wish I could be getting this release of the game, but can't justify it at the moment. Too much in my backlog I'm working through and I should probably grab a couple other games, like Horizon Zero Dawn, before buying this. It's one of my favorite Final Fantasy games though, and has for a long time been in my top 5 of all time.

Would love to return to it.

I got it today from the mail but I haven't touched it yet.

I overall liked FFXII even with its flaws.

This was one my first games I went all out to 100% it. I remember spending close to 2 and a half hours fighting Yiazmat. I will get it down the line as I am busy playing persona 5 right now. Still cannot wait to visit Salikawood again. For some reason its my favorite region in the game.

I'm gonna get on it soon, it's the last FF game I really enjoyed.

Why?

Part of me wants to nab it, but the other part is telling me to hold off for a Steam release. I'll pick it up when it comes down in price. I have plenty to play until then. I'm happy to see so many people enjoying it again.

Was the remaster released on steam?

Decided saving for 2nd year uni is far more important, so getting rid of PS4 and other stuff.

I will get it eventually. I heard so many sh*ts about its last act, so I'm not expecting much in terms of story.

If ill be playing what i consider one of the worse FF games in its remastered version ? No thx. Best case scenario to buy it just for my collection in a serious sale.

I'll have it tomorrow. I'm really excited but I hope it doesn't fall into obscurity and end up in Backlogland like my FFX/X-2 Remaster. I had a blast playing it all day for one day then...nothing lol

No, but it seems like SE has been porting them all over in time. I seriously want this game, but my backlog is just too big to add another game to it right now.

I started playing it for the first time last night

The dialogue and combat are awful so far, but hopefully it gets better once I get past the first few hours.

TBH, it's not really grabbed me yet. Most of my "time" in the game, has more so been trying to work out what job classes I should give to each character are. Personally, I hate this sort of thing, where it's completely open because I NEVER get it right. I'll always match the worst combinations possible, and make the game 10 times harder than it needs to be, which typically ends with me getting frustrated and quitting.

The combat does get better, and I would argue the narrative does improve too.

I played it a lot back when it came out on PS2. I got pretty far, but never ended up beating it. I've been debating on whether or not I want it again.....and might cave.

We'll see. I still have to finish Breath of the Wild, and a plethora of other games I have.

Waiting for the price drop. Cancelled my pre-order a day before the release.

They should put that on the Switch. The bounties would be fun to play on the go.

I was interested in Revenant Wings but never got around to purchasing/playing it. Maybe after I beat this I'll give it a shot, see it goes for only $12 or so complete.

@n64dd: No. Never beat the original and I don't have time to go back to it. The game is great though.

Bought it the day it released but haven't played it yet, I'm trying to finish valkyria revolution first then I'll start with ff! Can't wait!

I'm playing it. I could never quite work out why I originally found it less satisfying than some other great JRPGs and I am still around the same place. It's enjoyable and should have been special, but there is just something which is lacking.
