There was only 4 in the first game, and each of these are longer then the original. Plus all of them will be playable in Versus mode, won't they? yep every level has versus and there will be more survival maps and there will be the new scavenger game mode.

People found expert too easy so they added a harder mode for them Some are assuming that it'll take away some of the more arcadey elements, like no reloading while meleeing, friendly fire all the time, no magical clip merging, disappearing weapons and limited ammo piles

Damn right, L4D definitely isn't the kind of game where you just play through the singleplayer and then leave it, that must be what some people have been doing and they're the people who dont think its as good.
5 new levels each longer than the previous L4D? Can't see anyone complaining about that. Besides aren't the levels here varied, I read that each has random interior designs like in some cases there may be a wall here but sometimes no wall. Not to mention a better AI director. This is a vastly improved sequel (hopefully we won't get L4D3 soon so all the unnecessary rants can quiet down)

Ahhhh, I see. First time hearing about it. Sounds interesting.
An hour and a half to 2 hours per episode sounds fine with me. The first time i played L4D 1 it took me an hour and a half just to get through No Mercy. Dead Air took about 2 hours my first time through. I see no problem with this. You people complaining about game length aren't playing this game the way it was meant to be played. All that said, I won't be buying it till the 50% sale on steam :D

all of those levels you can see on GameTrailers... No you can't, they didn't reveal every single level of any of the campaigns. Think before you speak. And secondly, what is with some people's double standards, it's sad. Gamers are constantly asking for more information on secretive projects, and then you see posts like yours whining about too much... Ah...
