Alan Wake is a 360 exclusive

I see people saying it's not exclusive to the 360 because there "might" be a PC version later on....well until it's announced right now it's exclusive and should be counted as such....pure speculation by fanboys does not make a game non exclusive

its a 360/pc game, pc version is currently on hold and that doesnt mean its not coming to pc. im 100% sure its gonna be timed 360 exclusive at most. the devs never said pc version was cancelled or its exclusive on 360, they said they are currently focusing on 360 version

Is it confirmed that there will be a PC version later on, or is nothing official? Because if it's been confirmed, then you can't count this as a 360 exclusive, since it will be on the PC at some point. If nothing about a PC version has been confirmed, then yes of course Alan Wake should be considered a 360 exclusive.

edit- Or I guess it would be counted as a 'timed exclusive" until a PC version is possibly released, right? :P

The PC version is "on hold". Just like the Wii version of Civ Rev was "on hold", and that never appeared. The day you can play it on PC it's multiplat. Until then, exclusive :)locopatho

It will be on PC with new features and better graphics. It will also come to PC faster if it flops on the 360 which it most likely will.

I agree but it isn't "pure fanboy speculation" it's common sense, the game was first showed on PC and nobody has said the PC version is dead, they just ignore the question with "were only doing the 360 version no" which = timed exclusive. Either way it's 360 exclusive for now.

It's a 360 exclusive no matter how you look at it. While I expect a PC version since the original footage was all PC and I think it's going to release 6 months down the road, the fact there is no official word on this means it's a 360 exclusive no matter how you spin it.

Well wasn't Ninja Gaiden Published by Microsoft too? Doesn't change anything, this also holds true for ME 1 and 2 going to the PS3 as well.

congratulations, on getting this game as an exclusive. it really does just round out that 360 lineup and puts stratospheres ahead of any game lineup out or ever. kudos to this game for it being a linear action game with a flashlight, awesome. just awesome.InfiniteBlak

Alan Wake looks good,but not woth 60$ imo...il stick with me2 and splinter cell....and of course Heavy Rain and GOW3

I never said they should, I said they might.

Also the 360's structure is very close to the PC which is why there are so many PC/360 games instead of PC/PS3 games.

First of all neither one of you has played any of the games yall mentioned except for maybe God of War 3 which I'm also skeptical about anyways.

Also neither one of you have played Heavy Rain nor have you played Alan Wake so stop giving out lame reasons as to why the game will suck. If it isn't your type of game, fine I respect that but it is of others taste so basically people who say God of War, Heavy Rain and Alan Wake will be "awesome.. just awesome..:|" are basically a minority in my book.

Neither have you played Alan Wake yet. It lost it's open world. I will still play this game because I have been waiting almost a half a decade for this title.
