@pc_rocks: Right but that's still relatively minor. Sony going 3rd party like Microsoft would imply core franchises from their big studios going to PC. If Quantic Dream was first party, it would be more telling.
It would be cool to see Sony launch their games on PC but I can't see them doing it any time soon.
Quantic Dream pushes into third-party publishing with new hire
Quantic Dream has boosted its emerging publishing division with the addition of Unity and Microsoft veteran Sebastien Motte to its team.
Motte will be director of third-party studios at the French company, Gamesbeat reports. Previously, he worked at Microsoft Game Studios for more than 16 years, with ten of them as senior director of worldwide business development.
Quantic Dream as it seeks to grow away from its history as a PlayStation developer. *It is publishing* Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls and Detroit: Become Human -- all originally developed for PlayStation consoles -- on PC as exclusives to the Epic Games Store. It has also taken investment from NetEase to help fund its push into a more platform agnostic business model
You really thought Sony was going 3rd party to give you thirsty PC guys a taste of the graphically impressive AAA blockbuster console exclusives we have on PS4 and soon PS5?
Sorry, to break the news, you're still stuck with those 2nd rate console ports and budget indie PC exclusives.
QD worked out a deal and Sony allowed them to keep the games they developed while working with them. Quantic Dream is publishing those games, not Sony.
It's nothing but BASED Sony supporting an independent dev trying to do their own thing.
There's nothing else to see here except the misguided expectations of users drawing conclusions based on delusional fantasies and thirst of Sony's blockbuster AAA console exclusives.
Sony throws you guys crumbs too.
You have 2015's Bloodborne at 720p on PSNow that can play. Be happy Sony allowed you PC loyalists a chance to also experience a taste of greatness...4 years later streamed at 720p. That's the best you're going to get so enjoy.

Can we get the definition of the 'core franchises here'? There has been a lot of goal posts move since PS Now first announces from Only PS3 games for PS4 consoles as a backcomat to there will never be PS4 games on it to just old PS4 games on it for PC to no AAA exclusive to just streaming and not native to now but it's not core franchises.
If they did they wouldn't be on PC at all unless it was through PS Now.
I know they don't own Heavy Rain as QD owned the trademark before they pitched it to MS/Sony and got a deal with Sony however all later IPs are owned by Sony:
The big name exclusives that are system sellers. I can see Sony putting old exclusives like Uncharted 1 because that isn't really relevant anymore for PS4/5 sales. I would be surprised to see that happening with new titles.
lol it's embarrassing when you realize how much more money they've spent to claim they have more powerful hardware than consoles only to post a self-owning confirmation that they're still behind consoles when it comes to the most impressive games.

So 3 games, cool, noting it down. Let's see what will be the next goal post move after that.
@pc_rocks: I'm not moving goal posts lol. I would even prefer those games on PC since I'm primarily a PC gamer. This is just what I'm expecting to happen, I'd even bet money that Sony won't do same day PC launches like Microsoft. I just can't see how that would benefit them since exclusives are a central part of their Playstation marketing.
