I predict this remake to be on par with a simple HD port. Its an Ubi product, i don't expect anything from them but allegations.

I would love a new Prince of Persia game. Unfortunately, the original creator and owner of the PoP IP, Jordan Mechner, isn't interested in making another game last I checked and I'm okay just getting AC, so no biggie. Prince of Persia 2008 was criminally underrated and I like it.

Watch it be a swerve and its assassin's creed 1 remake.

Yeah, it's probably just a HD remaster of either the Sands of Time trilogy or POP 2008.

Would love to see a new POP with Sands of Time style puzzle-platformer gameplay. But modern Ubisoft just doesn't have the talent to pull it off, with Jordan Mechner and Patrice Desilets no longer with them.

SOT Remake please

I thought I remembered Assassin's Creed 1 being marketed as the evolution of Prince of Persia or something. No way would they bring that series back as anything other than a remaster, for it doesn't follow the Ubisoft formula/checklist.

The PS2 Trilogy Remastered is the least i'm expecting.

Excellent set of games. Assassins Creed pretty much ruined any chance of us getting a brand new game on it sadly.

Of course Sands of Time is the best one. But if they were to remake one, why not pick a bad game?

The Two Thrones for example. Just make it have SOT charm with WW combat.

I've played through Sands and 2 Thrones a zillions times and done a few playthroughs of WW.
