A New Internet Browser Design Launches On PS3

eu.playstation.com has been revamped with a new interface to make the most of your HDTV. It is now easier to navigate and you can even use PlayStation Move."

I still don't understand why it needs a browser - or all that second rate media center software, actually.

I'll stick to Firefox.MonsieurX

That's sweet. Parents just got a PS3 for their 46" TV and I wanted to beable to browse the web from that. The old browser sucked pretty hard. This one looks great.

I want Google TV on my PS3. At least there we will have Chrome.

It's a new homepage, not a new browser, unfortunately.

But can it play all the formats that it couldn't before? will all pages load correctly unlike before? Have they actually revamped the browser or just the playstation portal? cause it seems like they updated the playstation portal not the browser it self.

I'd be quite fine with the ps3 only playing blurays and games. I just don't see the point of all the crap they bloat the consoles with.

Take Facebook for example... If I ever wanted to promote myself for no reason, I'd do it on the PC.
