Mech games don't have much luck. Remember Mobile Suit Gundam on the PS3? I'm not a Wii hater, I'm a bad genre hater. I own a Wii, and I've played a mech game (sort of).
I thought Wiisports, Excite Truck and Elebits already look amazing... considering the hardware. Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3 and Super Smash Bros. Brawl are going to blow me away.
Excite Truck has outstanding particle effects, draw distances and framerates. Pokemon Battle Revolution looks great. Sonic and the Secret Rings also has outstanding draw distances, water effects, character modeling and framerate.

It really does. I think Sonic has the best graphics on the Wii so far, though I have yet to see SSX Blur in person, so that could be better. Either way, it does look very good, better than a GameCube game IMO.
This reminds me of Gundam Side Story 0079 back on Dreamcast. That was a really good Gundam game using the in mech view. If this game is anything like the one on Dreamcast then I'll get it, no matter what the raitings it gets over here.

Wow if you are easily impressed by how good games look on Wii you havent seen much PS3 or Xbox 360 games. You'd probably faint if you saw what Gears of War looks like in real life.

Contrary to lemming philosophy, other games can still look "good" or even "great - even with the existance of Gears of War.

Like I said, considering the hardware, those games are impressive. If I want my HD fill I just boot up Half Life 2, Chronicles of Riddick or Doom 3 on my PC. ;)
