I've been playing Totally Reliable Delivery Service thanks to its inclusion in Game Pass, has a 55/100 on MetaCritic. It's one of those Human Fall Flat clones that's half decent, but my gawd is it an effing hoot to play. Doing co-op with friends has lead to some pain-inducing laughing fits of amusement. I realized though it's basically a simpler but superior version of Death Stranding (85/100 on MetaCritic), because you basically do the same stuff, deliver packages and not much else, it's even every bit as challenging of an endeavor just to move packages, but Totally Reliable Delivery Service does something Death Stranding just can't do, and I'll post this video and let's see if you can figure out what that is:
Hint, it's in the audio... give up? Well, that's what having fun sounds like. Funny too in all the praise and excuses I have seen for Death Stranding, I have yet to see people look/sound like they are having fun. I hear people say how great the game is, and I guess I just have to take their word for it (or not), because watching streamers play Death Stranding is about as lacking in emotional stimulation as I imagine watching two Vulcans having a staring contest would be.
So, if you disagree, please, feel free to show me what having fun playing Death Stranding looks like. I figure given how well it has sold and how much praise it gets that this should be really really really easy.
