So much for not having any 4K games.
ProFauxK not allowed.
this guy is not being honest, his assessment seems decently accurate in terms of what the system should be able to deliver natively and what it should be able to deliver checkerboarded. however a lot of those "confirmed native 4K" games are not confirmed at either native or checkerboarded, their rendering methods have sparsely been touched on.
i will admit though that this system launching a year later and with more support out of the box as compared to a system that has been on the market for a year is pretty interesting and shows the shift in developer priorities

The one's that are confirmed for native 4k are.... Forza 7, Lucky's Tale, Cuphead, Sea of Thieves, Forza Horizon 3, Gears 4, Halo 5, Rocket League, State of Decay 2, Crackdown 3, TitanFall 2, Fallout 4, NBA 2k18, Madden NFL 18, WWE 2k18, most sport games, Halo Wars 2, World of Tanks 2, and most indies.

Anybody who knows anything about PC hardware and how it fares at 4K would have known this already... Still will be the best $500 spent on a pure gaming machine by a good amount compared to PC build $500. (That bitmining craze really drove GPU prices up, it's hard to build a $500 PC to beat out Xbox One X)
Also you gotta remember this console is meant for people who don't want nothing to do with PC gaming and even if not all games playing in 4K, it's still a worthy purchase. (Unless you love upgrading consoles every 2-3 years that is)
Where are all the filthy lemmings whining like little bitches about another X1X thread being created?
Fucking hypocrites...b, b, b, but it's ok if it's made by another delusional lemming, just not ok if it's anyone else.
This is why filthy lemmings are the clowns of system wars.
lol so the guy lists a load of crap running at 4K like indie titles and really old games then he gets to the heart of the matter and addresses the real question on everyone's lips i.e. REAL AAA titles upcoming and beyond what can we expect?
AC Origins will run at a blistering 30fps.
Anthem will run at a mindblowing 30fps.
Who gives a **** about 4K on the X or the Pro the REAL bottleneck is exactly the same on both systems. PC's have been running ALL games at 60fps for how long now and MS's NEW console will be delivering 30fps in games that actually matter?
Another junk console except this one has ZERO exclusives. Basically, it's a really shit PC that runs multiplats and nothing else at a slightly higher resolution than the PS4 Pro.
Whoop de doo?
The Xbox One X is a beast for it's price. Of course not all games are going to be native 4k most people already knew this. The damage Control from the Xbox haters is going to be fun for the next two - three years. lol

Wow what a beast. 30fps on anything current and cutting edge in 2017. Yeah that's a real beast you got right there.
@blueinheaven: Hahahah another DC reply. The Xbox One X is more powerful than about 85% of PCs according to the Steam Survey.
Not in terms of CPU. If all that matters to you is a res boost and shitty frame rates are no problem well I'll just put you right alongside that imbecile Spencer who doesn't understand why people want fast frame rates and write you off as a serious gamer. Not a problem.

oh it's a great value, but people need to keep this misinformation under control
LOL, sub 30 fps box.
Damn, mighty powerful indeed. But thanks, needed a laugh, just more peasant talk.

Too bad you won't be playing Red Dead 2. lol
I only play RPG's the majority of the time, you can have that one.
The Xbox One X is going to be an excellent system for a pretty good price. I'm going to have a great time gaming on it and this makes me happy.
Lots of tears and goal post moving in this thread.
no one is moving any goalposts, you created the thread with a video that is spreading misinformation

So the One X doesn't have 4K games?
of course it does, but that video is filled with a bunch of absolutes for a whole lot of games that no one actually knows in which form they draw their final render.
it's misinformation.
@xhawk27: my point is, if you are going to gloat native 4k.........have be something other than
a list full of old games.
How does the PS4 run that list of old games?

Yeah but remember this is not a start of a new gen. They do have Forza 7 and Lucky's Tale being in 4k.
That console design is just beautiful. Wished they saved it for Xbox 4.
maybe that will look even better, curious if they can make that even smaller

So because these games aren't out you are assuming they won't be 4K?
@kuu2: look man as a mostly cow but still manti core, u cant expect every game to still be 4k. one x crushes the pro, but cpu is still a cpu and we should just wait till next gen because its too late in this gen to make a difference

I don't expect all games to be in 4K. I do expect The One X to have a substantial amount of 4K games though. This thread is to combat those who are running around the forum saying there are only 1 or 2 games in 4K on The One X. If someone wants to doubt the list and say these aren't confirmed games then they have every chance to disprove the list. So far though I have seen a bunch of conjecture.

i'm not making assumptions, i'm not even inferring or implying anything. when you post a video that exclaims absolutes for games running in native 4K with no actual information released related to their final renders or even what resolution they will render at; you come off equally as much of a joke as the person in the video making erroneous claims.

not true youtube videos are low res representation. They're nothing compared to having the console and games displaying directly on your tv( or maybe my laptop is more ancient than I think)
Gears 4, Halo 5, TitanFall 2
Gears 4 drops the resolution in multiplayer, many speculate Halo 5 will be using a dynamic resolution scaler based on PC performance and Titanfall 2 scales the resolution as well.
You can have World of Tanks and Luckys Tale

You know nothing, because at this moment in time its just PR.
You don't know the settings, the framerate, and if it actaully runs at a full 4k the full time, and what performance a game actaully needs to run at any given moment.
Microsoft is full of nonsense, everybody that dealt with microsoft for longer then 5 seconds, knows this. There PR means nothing.
Sure the scorpio will have 4k games.
So does my 970 run games at 8k, it doesn't mean a 970 is outpeforming a 1080ti which can struggle at 1080p with extreme modded settings.
I dunno what you try to proof here with that video, or with your reactions.
The scorpio should have launched with a ryzen cpu and made open as platform, thing would have sold insanely fast.
Yet it's a lackbusting, expensive closed box without much reason for anybody to move into it.

Gears of War 4 is already confirmed at native 4K.
"The first and probably most noticeable improvement is, of course, that we render the game at native 4K resolution."
-Mike Rayner [Technical Director The Coalition]
Halo 5 might be able to achieve native 4K, maybe, you have to remember the Xbox One had some memory limitations that the One X does not have plus it's got a better CPU and 4.5x the GPU compute, not 4x. Titanfall 2 as already disclosed will have a dynamic framebuffer.

There is nothing erroneous about the list though. There is proof and devs saying games will be in 4K on that list. I totally understand that devs can say one thing and later we find out different. When we find out different forumites are more than welcome to make a thread about it. Until then the games on the list will be in 4K.
